I love the weather and have always been interested in it. To me, the creation of incredible storms and the patterns of heat, wind, fronts, and pressure systems in absolutely incredible, especially since many of these things still baffle humans!
I want to know: does anybody share my interest? Any other weather buffs out there? Or, some interesting story or fact about the weather?
Ooh! That happens on rare occasions. There is enough heat in the air for sufficient evaporation to make rain to occur, but as soon as the clouds condense, they spill their moisture and disappear. It's really rare.
@Ghgt99
Nice! Is everyone/everything okay after that bad of a storm?
Oh, lucky! I love it when it pours. It immediately makes me happy for the rest of the day. :P
Same here.
And yesterday the 4th of July was the best day to be out. I take walks around my street and around my school. It was about 70 degrees and some wind. It was perfect.
The weather for my location is pretty sporadic and will often change contrary to its previous state; however when it begins to rain, I absolutely love it. Whether it is a soft drizzle or a heavy downpour, I think it's great.
I agree with all of the above! My Fourth of July weather was perfect, too. It was clear and probably about 78 F or so. The air was a bit stagnant, but I really couldn't ask for a better night.
Also, today, a severe storm fizzled before it got here! > I was (am) angry!!! :P
It's California in July, but the sky is full of clouds and it's cold as hell.
I live in California. The weather jumps and runs all over the lace. Cold to mild to hot to cold to mild...and so on. I'm fine with it though. It's nature.

I think I'm going to be receiving your heat here in Iowa soon. We could reach 100 F without factoring in heat index! Icky icky.
