I love the weather and have always been interested in it. To me, the creation of incredible storms and the patterns of heat, wind, fronts, and pressure systems in absolutely incredible, especially since many of these things still baffle humans!
I want to know: does anybody share my interest? Any other weather buffs out there? Or, some interesting story or fact about the weather?
It was supposed to be pretty hot today, but I guess not. It wasn't that bad. Probably because it was windy.
A North wind, I presume? Those always feel fresh, even when they're cold.
It just started raining really hard and got really windy. Some lightning too.

Well, the stationary front finally came through yesterday evening, and today was beautiful. A high of about 73 F, and winds from the North at about 10 - 20 mph.
Hurricane Katia is now a Cat. 2, but looks to turn to the east after Bermuda and before the U.S., so that it will not hit any land.
Lee has dissipated, but it is still producing heavy rains. Some places could receive over 10 inches.
It's quite cold here for this time of year. Right now it's only 47F. No clouds and a high of 64F.
Same here. Our high yesterday was almost ten degrees below average. It is kinda nice, though, compared to the 90's F of last week.
It got cool last night. The low was about 53 F or so. The cool North wind makes the air feel so fresh...
The downside: there's no rain in the forecast until next week. I might just shrivel up and die.
Lee is a depression, but it's still giving some nasty downpours in the South, and is meandering over the same areas...
Katia is now a Cat. 2, but the good news is that it's turn is almost definitely going to be before it hits the U.S.! It is also unlikely that it will hit Bermuda, as well!
Yeah. I'm pretty much interested in the weather too. Sometimes we get like Cumulonimbus Incus 3 times per month.. Only Hail,flash floods and strong wind. Even a tree fell on a women. And a Man drowned in the flood. Once we had a humid day, it was a pretty nice weather, but when my friends and I started playing football, we saw some pretty dark clouds approaching. So when rain started, we quickly got into the house. The storm got severe. Even the chimney got destroyed.
Irene was a long-lived hurricane... it destroyed the Bahamas. It got severe and the roofs flew off. Luckily my family and I were in NY, so the Tropical storm weakened.

We're hitting mid-70s for the whole week, although it's supposed to rain tomorrow and Wednesday.
Sounds perfect! I love it when the weather is nice when it's not raining, and raining or snowing when it's cloudy. But just cloudy or just windy (or both) are annoying...

That's scary. Though Cumulonimbus can be very spectacular when watched safely. That coming from me, one who watches storms with intense lightning roll in from his front porch. :P

I don't like rain... Here in the Netherlands it rains every day, it was a very bad summer...

Isn't rain like that interesting? It's not your normal rain that dies out when the heating ends. It just keeps on going. Steady, immovable... Weird. I think there's a chance that the remnants will hit me eventually, too! I don't know how big of a chance, though...
