Being a more conservative person myself, I should say," homosexuality is bad, blah blah blah."
But I disagree. I am mostly conservative, but I am for homosexuality. I also think that it isn't fair that one person can't be married to a person they love. Love conquers all, baby!
I don't think that's what he meant, Zophia, but rather people who like dogs as pets. In other news, though still directed at Zophia, I've been reading this sense about 170.
What if suddenly there was a huge movement against people who love dogs? It is the same thing, and intolerance of it is ignorant and preposterous.
Zophia:
Careful with that statement, fergman~ Comparing those two kinds of love is not necessarily the best way to go about this subject...
Windshift:
I really do hope that isn't in a sexual way...
Xzeno:
I don't think that's what he meant, Zophia, but rather people who like dogs as pets.
I think that demonstrates what Zophia meant perfectly because while Xzeno is probably right (and Windshift can breathe a sigh of relief), one does not, as has been discussed in a separate thread, necessarily have to mean an entirely platonic love when referring to anything, including dogs. In fact this example is slightly ironic because by and large, public sentiment towards "loving your dog" (in the zoophilic sense) is generally negative! And moreover if taking fergman at face value he did make a direct comparison between loving your dog and loving another person...
There shouldn't be a debate on this subject. Period. Because being homosexual is, in all entirety, a life-style. This life-style has nothing to do with others lives other than the fact that the 'gays' are there! I don't get people who are against gays. If they are allowed to be happy, why can't homosexuals?
Are you sure about that Strop? I mean, because someone is against homosexuality doesn't make them unhappy. Unless they are a strong believer in heterogeneous marriages, and are anti-gay, why can't they be happy?
Estel is absolutely right, being against someone who is homosexual doesn't make them happy but makes them think they are superior than the person they are against.
i dont get why people are agianst them because its there choice not yours no one should have any say in how people live there livesbedcause its not yours you dont have to like the same sex so y should it mater to u
I mean, because someone is against homosexuality doesn't make them unhappy.
Yes, it does, they do not want to be gay, remember? Okay, bad bad bad pun. As for ztmoore1, this is a real discussion thread without flames (for now), and with decent theories. So do not spam, unless you have something to say.

Yes mvpguy22, I was being facetious :P
Although as the page on this discussion suggests, there really is a grain of truth in what I said. If there is something you want to restrict or see gone, can you say that your freedom to happiness is genuine?
I believe that more and more people are becoming homosexual, when you where a little kid most boys only hung out with boys and the same with girls, I think that since they grew up with these type of people that they are more likely to be attracted to them instead of someone that they've never talked to before. As I have said before on page 179 I am not against homosexuals in any way, I believe that if you are old enough to make a sexual decision then choose what gender of humans that you would like to spend the rest of your life with. This is a very big decision so it may take time to figure out, if you have never been attracted to guys then you are most likely to choose to be straight. Many good points have been brought up about religious views and I am going to look into it more so that I can better understand what all is being said about it only saying vaguely in the bible that being homosexual is wrong. I hate to admit it but my dad is against homosexuals, he believes that the bible and all of its words are right and that it says that homosexuals are walking sins. I disagree with this even though I am religious, maybe if I find more on the bible he will believe that they are normal and perfectly fine in modern day society.
