Apperently it's a big hot topic right now, so I want to know how gamers feel about it?

Well, for one, I believe, God [In the christian sense] I believe, also like a few other religions, made it that we could make our .. OWN choices in life? Why would god have given birth to a murderer? Same thing, unreasonable excuse.

Anyway, The quiet thing is weird, but, when its such a killer controversial issue and you know there are people that hate it, people that are okay, and people that are that way.. People that are homosexual can easily form a group/club and keep it to the ones that feel that way. For example, you won't see a Christian in a Muslim country wearing a shirt saying "Great day to be Christian" walking around, no offence, but people'd be a bit weirded out by him. Same vice versa, heck, I'm not christian, doesn't mean I scream it out in the world.

Its just people have different veiws, you shouldn't try to derrange those veiws, keep them to yourself and whoever else feels that way. That way, you can be proud to be g.ay yet not inflict offence on anyone.

Done deal.

It isn't that I think people should go around telling random people random facts. But there is no reason to hide it either. G.ay people are oppressed and that's why we have parades and shirts. It's a way for us to express our feeling. Until we are equal, there needs to be strong expression. It isn't really comparable to a random fact.

True, until it is accepted, we need to be making waves about it. Nothing will constructive will happen if people are not active about it.

Well, I understand that, but, under common society, according to ones belief and ways, one person may be treated less than the other. Now, I would treat someone just fine if I didn't know they're sexual orientation.. Yet, if they were g.ay, again, no offence, I'd be a bit avoid-ish of them.

Its something really new and strange to society, sometimes, its things that can't be accepted.

That's fine if you avoid someone that makes you uncomfortable. Everyone does. It still doesn't mean that I should not be proud of who I am.

@switchfoot, You do not have to represent something to be proud of it

Lol, SwitchFoot, as super as that may be, I doubt they all fit your description.

I'm just saying what alot of people think, and the sad truth is, [even as I oppose it] it can't be something that can be totally accepted by society. For example, an African American though, can, there are good reasons for it. The whole controversy over all of this puts it at a standpoint with if you are totally proud of who you are, the problem is that there are people who are totally against what you are. So being totally on that idea that T-shirts and whatever are here won't make the equality that people can live by and not oppose the people that there living with.
[As friendly and Meet-New-People-ish they may be.] xP

Also...i just thought of this, if you want to have equality, then don't make a big deal about it, then i don't think people would really mind..

ajmgan, It doesn't make a difference if someone was born g.ay, or if they decided they wanted to be g.ay. They are still a human being.

Sorry about that, I was trying to say that they still deserve the same respect that others get.

Theres a fine line of respect for being a human and another fine line of respect for doing what you do AS a human.
