Apperently it's a big hot topic right now, so I want to know how gamers feel about it?

...or otherwise affirming that they are "not g@y!" "I don't care, I'm just gonna say, it's all okay...but I'm not g@y!"

Really it's not like you'll not be yourself in any way.

Okay? :P

I don't care what people are as long as they don't do anything around me. So y'all can do whatever, but if ya do it when I'm right there, then I'll throw a fit. Sorry, I'm a bit of a prude.

Well, that's actually more reasonable- the general perception is that personal intimacy is something that is just that: personal, private and should be kept to the bedroom.

Just how justifiable this is I don't know, but in the background the debate on whether it's "freedom of expression" or "wanton exhibitionism" rages on. As long as it's applied equally (which it isn't, but that's splitting hairs for the time being), then there's nothing wrong with one's position.

(On that note, I personally don't care whether people are very proper or whether they're all over each other and the fixtures...so long as they don't disrupt my personal space.)

*giggles* @ Strop...

Strangely, I prefer it if they disrupt my personal space.

And I agree, as long as you throw a fit at both the straights and the not-so-straights, then that's more than reasonable than most people will offer.

That is such a...hm, well I think I'll save my comments on that for a more *personal space*, hah.

I guess the disruption of personal space would be like the transcension of the "world of personal boundaries" that our plastic, fabricated society has come to embrace...

...hm, maybe people who prefer their personal space disrupted are more receptive to polyamory xD

Haha, you and I both. I mean...what.

My personal space depends on who I am around. If I do not really know you or enjoy you, stay over there. Otherwise...it is all good.

Did that even make sense? My head has been swimming with interesting ideas and mental images al day...

I really do not mind at all what people do, or what they enjoy, or are into. I think the more diversity there is, the more people learn and are able to see things from different perspectives.

I think people should be able to personally do as they please; As long as they are not harming, or impacting others negatively.

When it comes to personal space, i like to have my space. I think that there is an obvious limit, no matter who you are or what your sexual orientation is, as to what is acceptable in public. I think as long as couples, whether gay or straight, are respectable of people around them, then everything is fine with me.

Hooray for citation of Mill's freedom ethics! That also brings the thread back to some semblance of seriousness...

...as for you Ash, voidy...get a room >.>

How does what someone does in the bedroom effect anyone else's life? It doesnt. Is life so boring for you that you have to worry about what other people are doing? Are you so pathetic that judging other people is all you have to do? Grow up, get a life, and mind your own business.

Exactly who is that addressed to, Daughn?

Hope it's not Flip, DM, Ash, 'voidy and myself, because this page is generally very lighthearted!

Then there's the argument that people of various orientations (or at least the activist and the 'ride' movements) are more flagrant and contribute to the public degradation of moral worth or whatever it was...apart from "ruled by sensibilities", I have two more words for that kind of stance...

...

"Observer bias."
