COnnecticut has very high crime rates, but no natural disasters. Then again, most of you people don't know where CT is.

Definatly NOT nevada if you live in Vegas or Reno. Lots of crime and drugs unless you live in the middle of the desert. Even then the radiation from past bomb experiments should get ya. If you want safe then go to idaho, but you might die of bordom there.

Hmm... I'd say my state, Maryland, is pretty safe in terms of natural disasters. But it has a terrible crime rate.

I would agree that New Hampshire is your best bet.

Louisiana is #1 most dangerous state and where I live (Florida) is #4 most dangerous. Lucky me.

Yes lucky you. I live in the most dangerous city ever recorded on the west coast. We also happen to get earthquakes. I'd prefer to get hit by the earthquake than be a victim of crime in this city.

That's why everyone has several high powered rifles and a machine gun.

No matter how safe a state is crime can happen anywhere.

In my opinion, it really doesn't matter what state you are in, rather, what city/area you live in. Every state has their bad spots.

I would've said Pennsylvania, but then thought about the big cities and urban areas. Rush hour in Pittsburgh. Never again. But then again i'm used to the mountainous regions of Pennsylvania. New Hampshire would be your best bet.

North Carolina. No crime really and virtually no natural disasters. Just has weak law enforcement.
