Which US State do you believe is the safest to live in?Factor in crime rates, natural disasters, temperature, etc.
New york is pretty safe. I think it's in the top 20's now. But if you do go to new york then you should avoid obviously bad areas.
Round Rock, Texas, on Quick Hill Road. The safest place I could think of.

Most of NY that's out of the slums is decent.
