They're gonna make downloadable content based on Daedric Lady Meridia? That's what I think of when I hear Dawnguard. She hates undead and darkness. Or perhaps they're gonna create something completely new from something obscure like Knights of the Nine in Oblivion.

You could be right, the image that came along with the announcement shows the hero with yellow/amber glowing eyes; could there be a link with the sword Dawnbreaker?
Any way it sounds cool, can't wait for some new adventures to rush through :P
I've done so much in skyrim, I've had the game since it was released and STILL haven't beaten it. I like taking the side quests and exploring too much, lol. I've got a Nord warrior and a wood elf hunter
Crossbows sounds nice, but, well, Falmer are snow elves. They are already in the game. Unless they want to revive the long-dead Snow Prince (from the Morrowind expansion Bloodmoon) and a few of his fellows, I don't see what should be so extraordinary about that.
I just saw an announcement on the UESP main page that confirmed they're really gonna make a MMO.. I don't know whether I should rejoice or cry out loud... -> gameinformer
I have tot bad news. The Elder Scrolls will get an mmo game. It will be created by Zenimax and Bethesda.
Say what you think. But I hate the fact that they destroy the game by making it an MMO. I think I they make a MMO they lose the interaction a player has with the world because the world doesn't change by your actions like in Skyrim gaurds being replaced by other factions because the region has been conquered, in oblivion that at a certain point you can come across random Oblivion gates.

There is also scripting for "SnowElfPrince1A", so that is most likely the biggest giveaway that the Snow Elf Prince will be revived in Dawnguard.

Cry. The entire reason the Elder Scrolls franchise is so successful is because of the unique feeling one gets as Dovahkiin, or the chosen one, or whatever. How would you feel if you were playing Skyrim and you were running around with a hundred other Dovahkiin. You wouldn't feel very special anymore, now would you?
should there be an elder scrolls 6? skyrim is 5, oblivion is 4, and i forgot what 3,2, and 1 is elder scrolls 6 should be something like Alduin's revenge or something

Arena Daggerfall Morrowind Oblivion Skyrim.
But Alduin's revenge, sirious. You defeated Alduin in Sovngarde or Heaven. You destroyed him and absorbed his soul. And they never have done that I believe.

Hmm, ok. After all the Snow Prince helped his fellows in fight against the Nords so it isn't absurd at all to bring him back in a DLC for Skyrim. Yay, gleaming armor and mighty spear!^^ ...he's been killed by a twelve year-old girl though, will he ever be able to show his face to the world? XD

True that *goes crying in a corner*
You destroyed him and absorbed his soul.
Actually you didn't absorb his soul, his soul is special even among the Dovah. But yeah, he's most likely gone for a while now, if not for good. And anyway bringing him up in the game after the game where he's killed is stupid, there is so much more to do on Nirn (or even out of Nirn )

i just quoted it from a dutch source. they said the string that was found in the last patch ended whit "DLC01" i could seak it up for you entirly if you want...

it will be like final fantasy i guess. 1 of the most awsome games when it was only offline. whit and after the 1st mmo they failed to make any good game. very sad they gonna make a mmo. =( why not the argonian swamps? i'm waiting for that since daggerfall.
should there be an elder scrolls 6?
yes.
elder scrolls 6 should be something like Alduin's revenge
absolutly.... NOT.
1 of the greatest things of the elder scrolls serie is that they they never have returned to a previus area. not even 50% of the entire continent is used in a game yet. the only place i can think of where they can return is morrowind. because they didn't make entire morrowind but just the "island" in the middle of morrowind.

You go back to a province in every game because in Arena you have Tamriel. Not just 1 province.
