Drug abuse? Violence? Racism? Disease? Starvation? War? Something else?
Stupidity and lack of common sense. It is the root of all problems. If all the people who are stupid and who act stupid in this world were to suddenly disappear, think of all the things we could accomplish. We could end pointless feuds, cure diseases, bring an end to starvation and so many other great things.
I don't agree with thos who say that "eople are the problem".
Well to back those people up. If there were no people then society wouldn't have any problems.
Instead, I would say "SOME people are the problem".
This might be true but there is a certain cycle. There will always be people who are just problematic and there will always be those who solve them. Without the problematic people, the people who solve problems will have nothing to do (which would be a problem). So the only way to eliminate this is to say that all people are the problem.

...indeed. I was just trying to avoid tautology. If world itself didn't exist, there wouldn't be any problem neither... The same for solar system and universe in general.

Let's try to look to a solution better than massive mankind suicide . Rather than "deleting" problematic people, I would suggest to "reduce" their problems. I mean, if they could have only easy-to-solve problems, the world would be better, I think. Of course, it would remain a world with some problem. But still a better world (and, after all, this thread is about world's BIG problem, not about a problem-free world).
The world's biggest problem is we can not all get along. The world's next biggest problem is there are humans with lots of power (political, financial, etc) who ten dot use this power for personal gains. No matter the effect it has on the general public.

Humans are greedy with or without money. If we hadn't money we would have to exchange goods and services. That would cause a lot more problems than money.
It's pretty difficult to say what is the biggest problems and probably there's no right answer. But I'd say malnutrition. I read that more than 50% of the people die because they don't have enough food.
