For me, it's Hallelujah by Jeff Buckley because it's simply a wonderful song, with superb lyrics and guitar harmonics. I think Thank You (for "Thank You", go to the 130th minute- 200); I love the solo, the lyrics and the end, calm but beautiful.
My 5 favorite beautiful songs (not in order) All of these songs bring me tears.
James Blunt - You're beautiful Journey - Don't Stop Believing John Lennon(The Beatles) - Imagine The Beatles - Hey Jude Bob Marley - Three little birds (every little thing gonna be all right)
Some deep, touching hiphop: Hard In Da Paint - Waka Flocka Flame. This song is a very relatable, insightful look into the reality of the street life. It offers a view into the lives of the gangstas, and shows that they too are real humans, with human feelings. They too feel pain for all their brothers that they lost. The song always stays true to itself, and the sheer honesty, plus the themes of ghetto love, make his song beautiful.
In The Arms of an Angel - Sarah McLaughlin Okay so I know that this is realllly cliched but this song is really beautiful and emotional. I seriously imagine poor puppies and kitties and I get really sad. Even without the puppies and kitties it is a really haunting and beautiful song.
Blue Moon - Elvis This version is really pretty, and while the lyrics aren't necessarily the best and it's been redone like a billion times, for some reason his version is really good. I remember listening to it for awhile when I was little and there is something about it that is just special. This is definitely one of my favorite songs.
