DO you like President Obama, or do you think there's a presidential contender who would be better than him and why?

1) That link doesn't answer the question as to whether Bush was asked or not, it's just saying there weren't any WMD's. It does say that an intelligence group did bring to mind that after '91 it's possible Iraq is going nuclear. That isn't much info.
2) His link is CNN, yours is MSNBC. Not playing favorites or biased or anything, but CNN sounds more in-the-middle to me.

The man sort of just jumped on his war guns a little early. I bet old people were sitting there thinking that on one hand, you have more Vietnam-type crap, and on the other, you have your oil needs.

Yes he did. He wants oil not need it. The reserve we have here is estimated to last us 50+ years and were still drilling and buying at the same time. I could only hope people turn to alternative fuels and energy before this oil thing gets too out of hand

Yeah if oil was the reason for invading why didnt prices end up going down? Its not like we marched in and occupied their oil drills.

He did alright. He wasn't as prepared to take on the economic burden as people thought.

I believe this is true and on a personal level, I think that the economy burden was conjured up by the economy and at the hand of President Bush simultaneously. Bush made it worse for President Obama. I can't say that Bush didn't try to the best of abilities, but if you look at past attempts, there was no upside for the people. Honestly, it wasn't fair for Obama for the actions of Bush and he should'nt be pressurized for it at all.....

Just wait. It's only been 1 year. He'll come around.

The man's been in office for 3-ish, his term is nearly over. What are you talking about? o.O lol

What would occupying oil drills achieve? Army men can't instantly defend an oil base and drill it at all times and export free oil into the US.

Oil was not the only reason, but I believe it was a reason. If we initiate a beautiful 'democracy', or our word for pro-US government, then we have better access. For example, after the first gulf war, Kuwait, in a year, found a new oil partner. It exported the most gallons to.... the US! [And Daddy Bush got a few oil contracts for his corp, too]
