DO you like President Obama, or do you think there's a presidential contender who would be better than him and why?

He did alright. He wasn't as prepared to take on the economic burden as people thought. The only thing people will really remember on election day is that Osama was killed.

I remember when I thought Bush was bad. And then Obama came along and isn't doing a whole lot better. I'm sure in person he's cool, but he's definitely not the greatest president.

True, but i wouldn't compare him to Bush. He hasn't done as much as he promised but he's still achieved a lot compared to Bush.

Well, Bush promised not to raise taxes. He didn't. It just caused the debt to skyrocket. At least he kept his promise.

Id say neither did much at all. Besides spend oodles of money.

I voted for him, but am displeased with his inactivity. Just feels like he hasn't done anything significant.

But if I don't like the other candidates in the following election, I'll give him more time.

I hate Obama and everything about him. Obama is a ****.

I like how some people are freaking out because someone called the president a ****. I personally agree, Obama is a ****, but I want people to hate what is being said because they disagree, not because they think the president is someone who deserves a certain amount more respect than another human beings.

I think that while he did his best to help he wasn't prepared for how bad the economy really was, and the presence of the democratic congress allowed for some bad decisions to be made that in the end fell through. But you can't simply blame him, we have a system of checks and balances for a reason, both parties are too blame.

At the same time, the republicans are angering me by saying they want to fix the problems, but they still don't want to raised taxes. Our national debt is over $45,000 per person, we need solutions and we need solutions now. Taxes don't have to be raised permanently, and frankly if someone who gets paid 600k a year has to pay out a little extra to help the common man, than so be it.

As a non-American, I feel like Obama is a rather good president, it doesn't sound as if he did a lot, but at least he didn't do a lot of things wrong. Bush imo was a nuisance.
And seriously, you can't expect a single guy to come in government, ignore all those lobbyists and politician who together have more power than him, and change the world to an utopia. This will never happen, get on with it.

as a non-american i have to agree whit hahiha that obama atleast didn't do alot wrong like bush did. except for starting a war in libia by handing out weapons to the rebels and start bombing the place and then leave it to europe to finish it.

I expected no such thing. But I did expect -something-. I believed in change and now I don't.

That's exactly what I was going to say. At least the majority of US troops are out of Iraq. Unfortunately, a lot were moved to Pakistan and Afghanistan.

As an American conservative, I think that Obama did a bad job as president for these reasons.
1. He established Obama Care which is a health care plan that will put us so far in debt that wee'll never recover.
2. He blames Bush for all the problems we have now (Ya I didn't like Bush either but the current president has to be held accountable for his actions).
3. Hes out campaigning for 2012 when its 2011 now and there are bigger problems than him becoming president 2012. Why won't he focus on our economy?
4. Hes never run a business before and he doesn't know how to run an economy.
5. The only change hes brought is a bad economy, growing national debt and losing all of our jobs to China.
6.(last reason) Gas prices, food prices, and products in general are having increasing prices because he won't drill for oil in Alaska which would create jobs building the oil rigs, drilling for oil and working on the rigs. We would have a growing economy if we drilled in Alaska.
