It would be totally worth it if you also just loved the short and even easy on veteran campaign of black ops , also the same online play but just without some really really funny mode called zombies !!!! YAY !!!! OH MY GOD it haves the potential to re-define the whole shooter genre with not 1 not 2 but 5 NEW WEAPONZ AVAILABLE !!!!! YYYYYYAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYY .

I said it in the way that I imply "How is Skyrim better?", quite frankly I've heard of it a lot but know pretty much nothing about it.
In my opinion, I find games like skyrim a lot more fun then the CoD series. CoD is very repetitive, while free-style RPG games are like a new exciting game with a lot to see and play with. Like a new world is opening for you. Ready for you to play the way you please.

I'd like to point out how modding really could've helped. CoD4 had maps that you could interact with, they just weren't made by the developers - there was one which was essentially Broadcast between a lot of buildings, but one of them on one side on the map was HUGE, and you could get to the top using an elevator.
Others include simply opening doors, picking up weapons / ammo that wasn't dropped from enemies, switching lights on / off - amazing if you ask me.

Also, from what I've read from quite a convincing article... The main developers of MW2 were the ones to blame for actually messing up MW2 on a few different levels and it wasn't more of a question of "Are these 2 gonna get fired?" but rather "When?". It's quite easy to see the corporate masters behind it all being the evil *******s but in this case I actually found the developers being the undermining fools.
As far as I've been told they are putting everything from all CODs into one with extra modifications to it. I've already pre-ordered my copy and if i don't like just give it back. Also Battlefield 3 all the way. Worth getting aswell from what i have heard.
I think if you consider yourself a hardcore fan of video games in general you HAVE to buy the annual COD game.
Actually, hardcore gamers don't really jump on bandwagons like the mainstream player does. Real hardcore gamers look for games that are good without the popularity or the social pressure.
