Ok so here it is will the world end or is it just a bunch of junk written by some old Aztecs. I do not think it will end but I would like other peoples input.
This is a friendly place to post your statement no religious battles or anything like that. Thank you.

i don't believe any of it.
scientists do not make predictions about when the earth will end.
scientists only say what can happen. but they will never tell a date, year, or a 10 year period.

and because your paster from curch made the list i'm doubting it even more.
here is a list of 220 predictions of the end of the world (take note of how many are religion related )

Well i dont know what the christians were thinking when they made some of those.... because the bible says that the world will end when no one expects it.

oh my bad, some christian also made a prediction for the end of the world in 2012 and he uses the bible as his evidense.

Michael Drosnin, author of "The Bible Code," found a hidden message in the Pentateuch (the first five books in the Bible) that predicts that a comet will crash into the earth in 2012 and annihilate all life.

Seriusly, if your a christian, and you say "I know when the worlds going to end" your very confused. In fact, if your a christian, you should be strongly AGAINST end of the world predictions, as [insert bible verse here] says that no man will know when the world ends. Those guys get annoying, claiming that their a christian, and it makes people think "Oh, every christian doesnt read their book of faith and thinks they know when the world ends". 2012 is just another year in the long list of predictions.

Most just do it for donations. If a guy can tell people that everyone's going to die and money will be worthless in a few days, then those gullible enough to listen to him will give up everything.

claiming that their a christian

did you see my list? in the glory years of christianity (when the bible was about the only book the commen people knowed.) even priests from curches were predicting those things.

it's part of christianity. if you can fool some1 whit god you can fool some1 whit the end of the world. (doesn't work that way anymore since we have mass media)

But didn't Jebus say:
"Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.'' (Matthew 24:34)
"Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.'' (Mark 13:30)
"Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.'' (Luke 21:32)

If I may ask, what's your interpretation of these passages?

NO. It clearly won't. If you take the time to look at Mayan history, than you'd see something. All Mayan calenders end and begin in an apocalypse. A new cycle was to begin, but when the calender ended, the French and Spanish invaded. They killed the Mayans, thus there is no new calender.

Well it only makes sense if you look at it historically, translate it into Greek then reverse translated into Hebrew, which the NT was never written in. But since that can still lead us to him meaning the group he's talking to, we also have to add some ambiguous metaphorical status to it so makes sense.

Or it's actually an error showing that this was just made up.

And 1999, when they said all computer would short out, or attack us. (I was 1 then, too young to remember. That's what I heard from my parents would happen

some people said that computers were not able to turn 4 numbers st the same time. it was always 1 or 2 (1998 to 1999 is 1. 1989 to 1990 is 2. but 1999 to 2000 is 4 =O ) so the moment that it wold become 2000 all computers in the world wold crash and never work again. and because the world society is so related on computers all hell wold break loose. nucks wold automaticly launche themself and human kind was going to return to the stone age.

(not a single computer in the world had problems whit turning 4 numbers at once. (how shocking))
