You may put the worlds Irony and Hippocrates on this Thread.
First.
John Stewart has Hilariously pointed out that Dr. Bachman (Michelle Bachman's husband who try's to "cure" gay people.) Is a FLAMING HOMOSEXUAL. Jerry Seinfeld is quoted saying.... "He buys Brawny paper towel for the packaging." that is IRONY AND HIPPOCRATIC.
These can be from the news and from life exp.
*don't post a story if you have not learned what irony or Hippocratic means.*
What other topics can you say have not been discussed ad nauseam, sproos?
Political ones, they pop up from time to time, moral issues also, I also lurk in religion threads correcting peoples facts.
But there was no need to derail this thread into one of the those topics, this should have nothing to do with religion unless you're using it to provide an example of irony and hypocrisy.
[quote]Nothing by the looks of it. If you read through the lyrics i don't see anything concerning irony and hypocrites. Only homosexual references.[/quote
I think he's referring to the perceived beef with Christopher Reeve that Eminem refutes in the song:
And Christopher Reeve won't sit for this neither And let's clear this up too I ain't got no beef with him either He used to be like a hero to me I even believe I, had one of those 25 cent stickers on my re--frigerator Right next to Darth Vader And Darth must have put a hex on him for later I feel like it's my fault cause of the way that I stuck him up in between him and Lex Luther I killed Superman, I killed Super--man And how ironic, that I'd be the bad guy Kryptonite: The Green Chronic
That said, I'm not sure. I'm not that familiar with the song, I personally think Eminem has fallen off not for lack of talent but because he's become too successful to connect with his muse any longer.
You know if it turns out that he actually plays football, we would have our first ironic and hypocritical thing, in all its glorious stupidity.
Right. Isn't it ironic that those who frequently argue shocking, illogical presumptions are more likely to be heard than those dispensing sound wisdom? The foolish press harder to be listened to because they know they are wrong...
