For those of you that don't know a rock scream is a scream belted out by the singer of a band during a climax or high part of a song usually resulting in jumping up and down by fans or fireworks going off. Nowadays not to many modern bands scream, I would say in all consideration the only bands I can think of nowadays that scream are Weezer and Green Day, but back when a scream was popular I think the who have the gold on that, what do you guys think and can you think of any other modern rock bands that still scream?
I think the end of Cemetary Gates by Pantera had a pretty good scream. But it might also be considered just hitting a really high note. But I found your definition to be a little vague.
No like rock, such as The Who, AC/DC, Led Zepplin Etc., ya catchin mah drift? metal screams are half the song, but yeah disturbed has a pretty distinct scream.
The problem with those bands is that none of them scream (technically, you could count AC/DC, cause both leads sound like they are doing a clean scream). Real good screaming only can be found in heavy metal, however. For example, Randy Blythe, lead of Lamb of God. That dude has serious pipes

Disturbed doesnt scream! they are the only new metal band that doesnt do screamo, if you think about it its kinda strange...but David has his own whey of making a song sound hard without svcreaming
radiohead has that really epic part in creep where tom just does that crazy yell "RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" its awesome.

in surrounded by dream theater when he shouts "LET THE LIGHT SURROUND YOUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!" it gives me chills everytime

Some of my favorite screams are from metal songs. Sure, Won't Get Fooled Again is a great song but rock isn't really known for screams. So, my favorite screams are in This Calling by All That Remains, in the beginning, and Laid to Rest by Lamb of God. Both bands have songs with good screams. Also, some Bullet for My Valentine songs have good screams, and also Killswitch Engage and Trivium.
