Hi everyone! After looking to the Video Games community, I've noticed that there is only seventh generation consoles-related forums (ie: PS3, XBOX360).
By seeing that, I've decided to create a topic about PS2 (that is a sixth generation console), for those people who own one or just like to remember the times that played in it.
Please send replies: everyone would like to hear what you think about the "Old PS2"! Thanks for the attention.
I still use my Ps2 on a regular basis because it can run Ps1 games. I have a pretty decent collection of nice games for both the Ps1 and Ps2; most of them rank among my all time favorites, so of course I tend to play this console very often. I always was a huge fan of Sony, because their consoles are reliable and often boast the widest array of Rpgs. Got the Hacks, the Xenosagas, older Nis games, shadow of the colossus, and then ff7, ff8, ff9, Tales of destiny, etc, etc...

I am jealous of your ToD. The only Playstation Tales games I could get were Abyss and Legendia. Also, anyone looking for good, underrated game series should check out Tales. Shameless plug, but it needs more fans, and there's great games for it on the PS1/2.
Moreover, it's the second one, which was released with a wrong name in north america; it's supposed to be called tales of eternia. The gameplay and storyline are much better than that of the first one; it's still my favorite Tales game, and I played most of them.
It's utterly complete, there's a lot of sidequests and hidden skills and the dynamic fights never gets hold. I swear, I could use Farah's maximum burst over and over again and never be tired of seeing it.
I hate it, I think the series has gone downhill ever since Ratchet & Clank 3.
I thought Deadlocked was pretty fun. Not too crazy about the storyline, but the gameplay was pretty fun and they kept the dry, morbid sense of humor that they've had throughout the series.
You're right. The GTA series did it's trick in the PS2. And GTA Vice City was awesome. The odd is that it seems better than the newer PS2 GTAs (ie GTA VCS/LCS)
