Basically just a thread to rant about anything and everything. I won't bore you with rules or anything, just remember to stick to the community guidelines and don't let this get out of hand
It's annoying when places don't sell exactly what they've got, but I guess it's because if someone walks in/out with a mug that's exactly the same as the ones used for serving, it looks stolen. So they sell similar ones instead.
Their sizes are tall, grande and venti. I know they sell the tall, and they might sell the grande. But not the venti. The venti is a beast of a mug, it's so huge. My friend stole one, but everytime i drank from it i felt guilty. It smashed in the end anyways, aha.
Not much of a rant, but don't you hate it when you're trying to quietly walk around in your house in the middle of the night, but somehow, no matter how careful you are, you manage to step on every squeaky and creaky floorboard in the house? Just happened to me while I was getting some water. My parents are already asleep and they'd be mad as hell if I woke them up. Luckily I didn't.
Yes, you heard me right. Those red and white signs that are litterally all over the place. You'd think they would be easy to use right? Drive up to it, stop, look to see that it's clear, and go. So why is this so much harder with a 4 way stop? Didn't we all pass a driving test to get our license? Are we trying to be nice and let everyone else go first? Yeah well, you just screw up the system then when you do that. People expect that when you get to a stop sign, the first person there goes first, second goes second. Not hard to understand. And yet, we get someone who always just sits there. So you look at them, waiting for them to go. And you wait. And wait. And wait. Finally, you decide to go, and they decide that you're letting them go first. So you both move and wa-la, you both stop again. And you wait. And wait. And wait. Eventually it sorts itself out, but it's so annoying! If you get to the stop sign before someone else, GO before that person, don't let them go first! Trust me, they'll thank you for not stopping them for a minute while you try to be nice.

That's why I have tiles!

I see this at regular stop sighs, but newer 4-way stop signs. Everybody in Florida is a jerk so they floor it just to be first. This thread makes me feel better about myself because these problems don't happen to me. I'm probably just lucky...
I despise it when you're reading a great book, in a public place, and someone comes up to you and says "have you got to the part where (so and so) happens?" and they spoil the whole book for you if you haven't reached that part.
I hate it when someone will quickly say that just because they don't like or understand something it's bad. I also don't like it when people think they're better then you. It's fine if they are better then yu at something but that does not mean in anyway that they deserve more respect or rights than you.
Not really a rant, but I dislike it when people talk so loudly when they're near each other. An example of this would be at school yesterday. I was in the hallway walking to a class and four people were near each other and they were yelling at each other.. rather than talking normally. They weren't arguing or anything, I guess they just don't know how to tune their voices down.

& Then everyone complains you were walking around so much in the night and you're like "IT WAS JUST A GLASS OF WATER."

Oh i agree, sometimes i think people in school require hearing aids.

This always happen! You're in the bathroom at night, the toilet seat slips out of your hands and slams like a bomb! But during day that seems a normal noise. Also, anything you let fall off your hands make the sound of a grenade. That's weird.
Once I woke up my mom by opening the door. I turned the doorknob and it made a weird noise. She was pissed

True! I have a colleague that is like: "HEY FRIEEEENDDSSSS!!!" She screams every time she speak something. My teacher once kicked her out of the classroom because she SCREEEEEAAAAAMEEED at my other colleague.
She sits next to the window. I don't know how the window is still intact.

It's because you're used to noise during the day, but your ears become more precise at night. Kind of like your eyes adjusting to darkness, your ears adjust to quiet.
I hate it when you are playing WII, and your brother's stupid friends get in the way and you can't pause it because the remote is wireless and gets "disconnected" and you can't tell them to move because they don't care. Yeah, I know that was a little specific but it happens all the time.
I'm not sure why, but most people I know are intolerant to rap music. Why? What's so bad about it? I know there is rap out there that talks about money, drugs, sex, etc. most of the time, and I know why that kind of rap is bad, but not all rap is like that. So why must you label it as such? Why can't you see the good rap through all that garbage? It's like saying this entire forum sucks just because there are a handful of bad threads throughout it; it's stupid to say something like that. Also, when I tried talking with them about it, they just said all rap is like that even though I showed them rap that isn't like that. They still persisted. Ignorance.
