Yes a Topic about fatness...well im not fat myself but i really want to say some reasons why people are fat!
well the normal reason is that they eat much.. and some times they eat much because: they feel sorry for themselves or they have lost someone and eat because ur unhappy and that.....
one other reason is that they have a sickness and like that but i don't know anything about the sicknes...that can you other who read this post...
but the whole reason is that....(this is nothing with armorgames to do but)i searched around youtube about all kind of things until i come up with a little clip about a fat kid was falling from a tree (it has fallen over a river) he felled into the river and got wet.... well i felt a little sorry for him and when i saw the comments i just felt more sorry for him.... the comments where like "hahah that fat kid did fall!" "haha" "lol" "rofl".....well ill just say "THINK BEFORE YOU ACT" like dont laugh at them, or be a bully against them.....
-Im not from an English/American talking country -Im not good at english -Well i think many will come to this bost with like "this topic were just bullshit" and "this is no serius topic" well just "think Before You Act" like ive already said......
Perhaps instead of berating people for being obese we should encourage our educational system to provide more accurate and detailed courses pertaining to nutrition, metabolism, and other factors which play into weight gain.
The sad fact of it is that the vast majority of people do not have a clear understanding of what is required to gain or lose weight and as such there are numerous common misconceptions and these 'fad diets' and diet programs making a killing because none of them actually address the real issue.
That being said, yes, I agree with pixie214. I find nothing more amusing than the person complaining about how they hate being obese, yet they refuse to quit eating McDonalds 5 nights a week. I really just want to smack them upside the head with a trout, preferably a frozen one as it would hurt more.

I like... I wanna join in. Now where's ma frozen kipper! I think they should make the doors in McDonalds about 1 foot wide so you have to slide in sideways and have security staff with cattle prods to get the ones that break in. In fact the cattle prods are quite poetic.
No need to be rude people, though I will admit to finding people's hypocrisy funny. Obesity is one of the major problems in first world countries. Mass production from fast food corporations have turned junk food cheaper than healthy food. A lot of people start off eating fast food because of its cheapness, and then it becomes a habit.
Well, it all still boils down to your determination, or rather how badly you want to change yourself for the better. Its all about choices, take 1 second to think about it, the thing you are doing now.. is it a must? No! its the same concept.
I will only speak for myself, about myself on this very important issue, as the OP said with sensitivity and tact.
I have struggled with my weight since I was a preteen. I am the B type of person who is easy going, not in a hurry, but I can accomplish more than most younger people because I'm organized in my efforts. My metabolism needs a jump start every now and then. I know better than to have a sedentary lifestyle but when I get on a roll on the computer, my self control is muted by my hunger for knowledge.
Over the years, I've taught myself that self control when it comes to maintaining a healthy weight starts with the grocery list. If I buy more healthy foods, I eat a more healthy diet.
After two weeks of walking every day, swimming, biking, light yoga, etc. while drinking water and leaving the sugar and salt alone the weight literally falls off. I don't really feel as if I've done anything. I don't have to follow a plan or join a gym.
I just have to decide that I'm in control of my kitchen. I'm from the south and I love to cook but I know I can't eat biscuits every day with fry chicken, sausage gravy with peach cobbler. Instead, I experiment with different vegetables and plug in the electric wok. All I have to do then is make a pot of rice, which I would do first. *Fried foods aren't the enemy, it's what you fry the food in. What lubricant are you using: 10w30 or, lard isn't healthy, nor is 10w40 or, beef suet. **Healthy choices are Pam which comes in Olive oil, my fave as well as vegetable and canola. When using a wok I like to blend canola with a few drops of peanut or sesame oil. If you'll use butter in this fashion you'll soon realize that you can cook a lighter version of just about any recipe.
The real danger is sugar. That keeps the weight on a person more than the 10w50 or, Low Melt that fast food restaurants use. I know this because one of my many jobs has been a certified biscuit baker for Hardee's, ooooh. I couldn't keep that job longer than a year because I could literally feel my arteries hardening. I couldn't bring food from home so many a day I wouldn't eat there, just drink water. When you drink the sodas or the milkshakes along with the Low Melt doused burger and salty fries, your body would need 2 straight weeks of exercise to burn it off. That's why the construction workers and road crews always go to Hardee's because they can work it off. Even Hardee's has learned to offer lighter versions of their menu fare.
I just have to decide that I'm in control of my kitchen.
That's nice... when you're getting your own groceries. If you're living in a family where not everyone is on a diet, chances are you'll be facing with both the desire and the opportunity of eating something you shouldn't. In which case no control works best than self-control.
"But if obese people had self-control, they wouldn't be fat, no?" is what you might be wondering. My answer is: not necessarily.
I've seen people struggle with the hardships of a strict diet while being fat myself (if I call myself fat it's not offensive ), and kept a diet successfully for a year and a half now (with intermissions), so in my experience I came with a general conclusion that, in a mentally healthy individual the lack of self-control is an illusion. A normal person cannot be commanded by it's own body to eat more than is necessary (with the exception of rare illnesses), neither are their minds out of control of their persona. When you eat more, you do so because you choose to. It is the easier choice, but there is no one that could not bear with the harder choice. A convenient self-persuasion mechanism I've discovered is to mentally relieve yourself of choices. If you have a choice between eating that triple-layered mega-burger or a bowl of salad (or whatever), you could cave in to your desires and make the easy choice. But if the delicious burger is not an option to begin with, then there is no choice to make. There is no need for coming up of excuses to work in favor of the easy choice when there's nothing to choose between. Finding excuses is generally a dangerous road, for it can blur the reasons you're dieting for (health should be on the top of the list).
Anyway, that's my two cents. So far I've lost 38 kg and I'm 5 kg away from the ideal weight for my height and gender. Then I'm off to planning a diet that will keep me there.
It makes me laugh that im 5 times heavier then my obese friend. He eats more healthyer food then me, and thus hes fat .No "deformations" No one in his family is fat. I have 85-ish KG , the usual for men my age and height. My fat friend has 60-something KG. Theres one important thing about fat...Its not heavy. Fat is light, but it causes a paranoic effect in us (i realy dont know why paranoic ,just shut up and read) that automatically makes a person i layers of fat - heavy... doesnt have to be so ... Just sayin' -Sen.
Hmm we had that same problem in school when people were finding if they were overweight on this chart that calculates based on height and weight. Unfortunatly it didnt take into account muscle mass so wrestlers, football players, etc. were all like WTF! IM NOT OBESE! Quite hilarious.
Alot of people are lazy and let themselves go, yes. But alot of people have a medical condition as well.
And let's not forget about metabolic changes that come with age. Many people, myself included, must alter their eating habits and increase their exertion as they get older because the body's metabolism naturally slows in the overwhelming majority people.
I understand how overweight people feel when people are making fun of them, that happens to me sometimes. I'm 5'9 and 130 pounds, so even though my BMI is healthy I'm still fatter than most of the girls at my school. It's just really annoying when a short person who weighs less than me but has a higher BMI than me calls me fat.
