well i dont have cartoon network now and im happy that i dont god they had the most stupid jokes they should try to please an audience of 12 and under ( i think) look at the simpsons you've got middle aged people young people old people all watching it but all the cartoons on cartoon netword are like for babys
Agree, Old cartoons are much better then that present. They are full with entertainment, humor and also the characters are awesome. In present time chinese cartoon are F**king that all the fun and enjoy full lessons for kids.
LOL I missed this thread back when it was made (last year), but I would surely choose the older cartoons over the current ones! Every time! =)
What current cartoon can compete with the good old "Tom and Jerry" or the complete "Looney Tunes" array of cartoons?! None... those cartoons were (and still are) awesome in their simplicity and level of funny situations and jokes! Never to be matched again! =)
Old cartoons are better! All the cartoons on TV make my mind melt, at least that is what it feels like. There is no old cartoon that I have not liked. The problem is that I can't remember the names of them! D:

Yep, Bugs Bunny (my all time favorite) was always outsmarting Daffy Duck, Yosemite Sam, Elmer Fudd, and other morons trying to hurt him. Foghorn Leghorn (so funny) torturing the poor dog and that baby falcon looking for chickens. Marvin the Martian saying "Where's the kaboom? There was supposed to be a kaboom." Sylvester the cat trying to catch Tweety bird and getting whacked by granny with her umbrella. Or when he chase a mouse and gets beaten up by a kangaroo, thinking it's a giant mouse. xD And Bugs Bunny again saying " why did they have to put South so far South!" Speedy Gonzales yelling " Yeba, yeba, hiya, andale!", or something like that. Anyone remembers the little savage with a bone on his head? He was always chasing a crow and the background music was The Fingal Cave by Mendelssohn (no wonder I started liking Classical music so young). I guess they stopped broadcasting it because of the racist undertone. Anyway, the reason why I liked it was for the music. Tom and Jerry was great and when they started making them talk I almost freaked out! Woody Woodpecker (major retard) was funny too.
new cartoons suck (im talking about the new crap on cartoon network) it has horibly stupid humor for a kids show and if highschool students watch it its because they are stupid pot heads thats what i see

Oh really? I watched a few episodes of Adventure Time and Regular Show and find them to be pretty good. Nothing that can stand up to Ed, Edd, and Eddy or Billy and Mandy, but high in quality nonetheless.
However, I have noticed that The Hub features a slew of great shows, old and new, that cartoon fans would love. You know, stuff like Dan Vs, the Batman Animated series, Pound Puppies, and the titan of the network, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
You wanna talk about a cartoon that hearkens back to the days of PPG, the Eds, and early Spongebob? Give Friendship is Magic a viewing.

i have to agree with chillz there the Eds were one of the most funniest shows of the 2000s, they just make that strange madness about them that made them so funny without being offensive to other people, which is what we have family guy and american dad for.
