I think it would be a good idea because if you mess up on a post you can fix your errors.

Yes, but then you could also modify what you said, and if someone starts responding to your old post and you change your old post, it may throw the entire conversation off.

Well yeah that's true but still I think it would be a good idea.

I think we should leave it just the way it is.

I beleive that the person who starts a post should be able to change their starting comment and the starting comment only.

Hell yes there should be an edit. I would have two less useless comments if there was, and I don't like to seem like I'm spamming.

John, many other forums have the ability to change your own posts and delete them. The way to eliminate your problem is adding the code to each edited post that would read in smallish font at the bottom:

Edited at X:XX pm on Date

I like that idea, it seems like a very simple yet effective solution.

And LordBob, it's 'Carlie' not Charley!

I think the guys (John and Dan and who ever else) should set up a poll section on all these things so we could just vote on the ideas that are brought forth.

Dank, the poll system would work after an idea has been put forth and the feedback is there. One example is the editing posts. We have plenty of feedback. We just need to vote on it now. In my opinion.

But it's better to get actual feedback opposed to just yeses and nos.
