Growing Civilization You are a ruler that must lead a poor civilization to become rich, famous and powerful. Done explaining now.

Civilization Types There are different types of civilizations. If you choose a type, you MUST stay to that type. Your actions must also be based on that type.
Military: Military Civilizations rely on their armies and superior forces to crush other civilizations for their resources and land. They usually make the most enemies and very few allies.
Trading: Trading Civilizations rely on trading for money and resources to build up their own home. They usually make many allies and usually no enemies.
Producer: Producer Civilizations rely on growing and making their own resources to build up their own homes. They are usually the most neutral and other civilizations will normally ignore them.
Civilization Needs A Civilization must be happy, must have enough food and water, must be entertained enough, and must be clean enough. Those low stats may seem discouraging, but as your civilization advances, those stats may become easier to raise, (or lower). If needs are not met, then the population will leave to other places. Once your population is down to 0, it will be very difficult to get the population back up. If you are unable to get back any people to the civilization, the buildings will slowly be taken over Mother Nature and the civilization will eventually become corrupt, and you must restart your civilization.
Government Government is a big part of life in a civilization. Here are the various types you can choose.
Democracy: In Democracy, everyone has the freedom to vote if they're at the minimum age or higher. Democracy usually leaves many citizens happy, some maybe not. But most of all it is very stable, but it leaves you in less control of the government.
Autocracy: Autocracy is the government which only one person rules. All choices are from the ruler and everyone else must follow. Autocracy can be very unstable at times, leaving the population unhappy, but it leaves you in absolute control.
Monarchy: A Monarchy is a type of government which only family members can join in. These are very common, but in the end they usually end up corrupt if not controlled properly.
Plutocracy: Plutocracy only allows rich citizens to participate in government. This type of government is somewhat common, but usually end up corrupt as well.
Republic: In Republic Civilizations, all citizens must follow the law and do as the government says. Like Democracy, only more harsh.
Fame and Reputation Fame and Reputation are similar things.
Fame is how popular your civilization is. Fame doesn't affect your civilization much, but it is good thing to have. Fame can be increased by expanding your lands, trading with other lands, conquering other lands, etc.
Reputation is what other civilizations think of you. The higher (positive numbers) your reputation is, the more civilizations want to become your ally and the more foreigners will settle in your lands. The lower (negative numbers) your reputation is, the more civilizations want to become your enemies and the more your population will want to leave your lands.
Locations Locations can greatly affect your gameplay. Choose one, and soon your civilization may expand to other locations.
Grasslands: Grasslands are perfect for large building areas, but do not offer much resources.
Forests: Forests do not have much space, but they do have plenty of lumber from trees for building and such.
Riverside: Riversides are very popular because they are good areas for farming. Floods can sometimes occur, which is a disadvantage until you develop a technology to block them.
Desert: Deserts are uncommon places for civilizations, since they are harder to survive in and have very few resources.
Mountains: Mountains are sometimes left untouched, but they provide great protection from enemy attacks. They also have plenty resources, besides lumber.
Valley: Valleys are surrounded by mountains, which are great protection against enemy attacks, as mentioned before. Though sometimes, civilizations may be limited to space of the valley and cannot move out.
Beach: Beaches are not too popular, but they are great for fishing. There are not many resources on a beach, but usually there is a nearby forest or grassland nearby.
Snowlands: Snowlands are cold, and occasionally hide resources around. These are very difficult to survive, much like deserts.
Technology Technology is how advanced your technology is (can't explain better). The better it is, the better your builds will become.
I play a lot of Rome: Total War, so I think I've got this. My city is a small, tribal village with a weak military force (militia spearmen, or because I'm a barbarian, a warband.) It is located by the cost of the Green Sea, in a forest. Our weaponry is steel tipped spears and round wooden shields coated in iron with a large iron boss (spike) in the middle. We're on a low budget. Our technology in military strength is good, but other than that we live in huts. Our men go out to hunt deer, which is numerous, and because we live next to many lakes we don't worry about water. The People are never bored, finding many things to do. We are infamous, known for raiding other stronger factions not in an act of war, but of defiance, so we are practically the only faction in the forests, chasing off everyone. We're known for our hit- 'n'-run tactics, with our lightly armored soldiers. Our second troop is the Chosen Swordsmen, where we search all nearby villages and take the strongest and most skilled swordsmen, arm them with a "half" sword (three feet, one handed), a shield (like the militia shield) and a helmet, plus chainmail armor made to make him maneuverable and have good protection against slashing attacks. Like I said before, they have a small military, but they rely on it much, for their superior tactics and invulnerability of taking their homeland because of their being one with their surroundings. The way they run their village is like monarchy, it being lead by a king's family members, and only by his family members.
Civilization name: Yur Ah Civilization Population: currently 6,500 Civilization happiness: 200 (100 being average, 50 being unhappy) Resources: Wood, large population of deer, a lake with clean water They have allies with trading empires nearby, where they get their steel.'
Um, I don't know if it's a medevil empire, and I know it's pretty rough, but tell me how I did.

@Sirmed2 - Follow the sheet please, otherwise I'm not going to start you off yet.
@KnockoutSloth - Well really it's more of a fast forward game, so everything doesn't take too much time. First it starts like a poor 1200's village in Europe then a castle, then a 1800's sort of civilization, then modern times... etc. etc. But the type of civilization you can advance to changes with your location.
Kk, I think I've got it. Civilization name: Yur Ah Civiliazation type: Military Happiness: 60% Hunger: 30% Thirst: 35% Entertainment: 70% Government type: Monarchy Government Stability: 70% Fame: 25% Reputation: 75% (known as cruel, evil barbarians) Size: Medium sized Wealth: Poor Location: Forests Technology: Poor in all except military Army: Yes, small but versatile Trading items: Yes, wood and weapons TGrading with: All neigboring barbarian tribes such as Kaf Yh' and Nur' Ah. Inside the forest, a band of versatile Chosen Swordsmen watch for any deer to hunt. They ghave set up a home in the forests, where resources know no bounds. It is great to find good defenses and perfect for their warriors, which they can use to raid other lands.
Currently: Building weapons (1 iron sword and 1 iron spear)
Nope. You have to start with the beginning sheet. Otherwise you would already be ahead in the game. Sorry but this isn't a full on customize your own civilization from the start.
