A weird ting happened to me recently while i was trying to fall asleep. What happened was I closed my eyes breifly and opened them agian and something caught the corner of my eye, when I looked straight at it, it was my swimming trunks and they were floating close to a chair, it was rigid also so I could see the whole front of it. When I tried to figure out why it was there it started to disintigrate and then was gone. I dunno what caused that to happen because I was definatly looking at it while not being asleep. My guess is that when I closed my eyes my subconsious mind turned on and when I opened them agian the two minds were still working so that was the dream fitting into what I was actualy seeing. Also that same night I closed my eyes agian and saw very bright flashes like lightning under my eyelids just before i fell asleep.
Did this ever happen to anyone?

Not never happened to me. Every once and a while though I swear I see something move in the corner of my eye but when I look there is nothing.

I forgot to mention that today I keep thinking I see a black cat walking in some places or lying on my bed and when I try to focus on it it dissapears, I am on no drugs and never have been. Maybe im going insane?

The things you see in the corner of your eyes could be what they call 'blind spots'
Dunno, just a suggestion.

I really don't think you're insane. If the problem persists to the point that you see things clearly and even after you're sure that you're fine you might want to see a docter.

It would seem to be the case but I seriously see it moving also, like the time with the walking cat, I thought it was my cat at first and payed no attention till I thought it looked skinnier than my cat and when I looked closer it wasn't there.

Sounds like a good plan, but why do you think it happens?

Well... I'd really rather you ask a professional then a 14 year old but there are plenty of things that could be happening in your head that would make you see things. Maybe try to touch it next time and see if you can actually feel it, ask others if they can see it too ect...

If you remembered correctly, the cat was always there, it just glitched up when they got near.

It could simply be tiredness. I see things when i'm super tired. As recommended above, try grab it, see if it's real. You may look a fool, so hopefully it'll be when you're on your own again.

I do that a lot, too. I wake up in the night, and I keep thinking a person's in the room. I look, nobody, but I see movement. It's odd, but common...

If you want a link to a thread about some strange, real stories that the armorgames community shared, I have a thread about some cool stories of people going face to face with the unknown here.

Basically yes, This is similar to what happens during sleep paralysis. A person is still asleep enough to continue to experience the dream even though they are partly awake. Many people have reported seeing demons, ghosts, old hag and aliens.

No your not going insane, this is a very common thing to happen. Many people report seeing shadow people in this same way. Basically your not getting a clear picture from the corner of your eyes and your brain will try to fill that space creating a false perception.

Did this ever happen to anyone?

Yes I've had similar things happen comparable to each of the things you've described. Non of it's really anything to worry about.

I see the squiggles in my eye and follow them occasionally thinking something is over there(SPIDER oh haha..)

There is a name for them, forgot it. Something about leftover tiny objects in the jelly in your eye from when you were being born or something.

I see bright flashes happening all the time when I sleep or laze about with eyes closed. I attribute it to blood flow, and when light permeate my eyelids.
