Strop wanted me to make a new art thread.

Me: Gimme a good reason to make a new one, then.
Strop: You're awesome.

Which I guess is a fair reason.
So making a new art thread.

I want the Ninja Librarian shirt. Where can I go about getting one, if I should ever get the money?

AND HE SHOOTS AND HE- Hits an old lady in the face, standing a mile way from the goal. What a humiliating defeat.

The ninja librarian is the best. He is really cool.

The zombie would look better if you had fully erased your previous attempt at drawing it.

I really like the wolf and the unicorn. The wolf looks like he is trying to be mean but is failing.

Finish adding color to the last one! Don't be lazy. Or if you want to be just finish the dragon's color, it is bugging me.

I don't see any of the zombie's last attempt's marks, maybe just because I'm sitting low while my monitor is raised higher. I do see the tracings where Cenere shaped the zombie though, which is kinda needed. But then again, those are just sketches like Cen remarked.

Zazzle, I think. They might be a bit expensive ($20 for a t-shirt, more if the artist wants to make money on it), but they have a lot of different options like mugs, keychains and so on beside the t-shirts, and they ship internationally.

Thank you!

Agreed.

Technically, he is the first attempt. Otherwise you are thinking of the sketch lines, which would defeat the purpose of it being a sketch.

I really like the wolf and the unicorn. The wolf looks like he is trying to be mean but is failing.

The point too. My sister asked me for it, stating the wolf should go "grrr" at the unicorn, and that the unicorn should look unamused. It kinda went from there, so I am happy it looks like that to other people too.

I hate backgrounds. With a passion.
Besides some shading, I think she is done, though.

Dingdingding, we have a winner!!
My sketches usually either go by "I have an idea, and this is how it looks" or "I have an idea, but I can't quite...". The latter makes for more sketch lines, because I am trying to get a good shape, the former usually only have sketch lines for the circle of the head, and then light sketches where I started the drawing.

I like the last 2 pieces, because A. WOLVES ARE EPIC. B. DRAGONS ARE EPIC. Nice drawings man.

More thanks!
And wolves are pretty epic. Reading Fool Moon kinda makes me want to draw more of the snarling, mad kind, while thinking about Innocents makes me want to draw a specific one snarling and mad.

----

And just a note, because the more noisy of the voices in my head says I should note it:
Shapeshifters are not dragons. They don't particularly like dragons, finding them a bit below in intelligence, and they don't like to be called dragons. They are shifters (or shapers, if they are based on light), though I think any of them would be rolling their pupilless eyes at me for stating that as a fact... But they would rather be called shifters than dragons. Or platypus...es as someone said in the ASC once.

There is something eerie about sitting near a huge beast like a werewolf, even if it is not in its war form. He had enough trouble feeling completely safe around Eric when he was human, and now that he was wearing his newly found near-beast shape, he couldn't help but feel the tuck of the primal fear of this predator, even if nothing would be happening. If Eric would just stop yawning and stretching and drawing attention to him and his jaws and teeth that would most likely be able to puncture a tractor tire or the hull of a ship or something.
It wasn't like this wasn't stressful enough without having a huge beast sleeping within feet of him, and if he hadn't been through worse, this would probably be nerve wrecking enough to give him a heart attack one these days. Or lose him a foot, if he wasn't keeping track of those yawning jaws.
Kai jumped in surprise when a dog in the building block across the street started barking loudly, which in turn woke up the great beast behind him.
Eric snarled, his inhuman shape communicating his irritation well without words, before stretching again and shaking his fur. He stared at Kai, then, grey eyes piercing the darkness they were hiding in.
"Nothing happened, it was just a dog..." Kai whispered, turning his back to the predator to at least avoid the soul piercing gaze, even if it gave him chills to leave the wolf out of sight.
The monster wolf grunted and made a huffing sound, probably resting his head against his paws again like some regular lap dog.
Then the entire front of the building block explode.

--

"Aw, come on, Pan. Don't be sure a bore!"
I glared back at my brother, though he was being quite oblivious to what I hoped was a "Shut up or I will shut you up" gaze. As always. It was like talking to a brick wall at times, a brick wall with too much energy and a strange ability to be oblivious to the serious matters of life. So, he couldn't really be considered a brick wall anyway. Rather a ferret.
"No." I simply replied, while he once again feigned ignorance, and in this case, a hearing disability.
"I knew you would agree!" God, he is annoying. He sat back with that stupid, self confident smile on his face, once again ignoring the gloomy expressions I was sending him.
"When something explodes, I won't be there to save you, Paine."
"If things start exploding, I would already be out of there, bro. Don't worry."

---

Such a pretty neck she has, such graceful breathing. Don't you just want to squeeze it shut.
Bastian sat back, smiling and nodding at the woman in the other chair, but he had stopped listening a while ago. He had already gotten someone else to look her up, her job, her connections, her issues. But she obviously needed to pour out her heart before she would trust him to do his job (and take her money), so he let her do that. Sadly, this time where he could be working over what to do had been interrupted by that other one in his head.
She will make such wonderful noises. Gasping for breath. And then you can let her take in a little, a gentle breeze to keep her alive for just a little longer.
Just what he needed.
You don't have to kill her. Just shake her up a bit. She will enjoy life much more fully if she has felt it lip away with each breath she couldn't take.
He tried to close out the voice, focus on the woman and her words, the straight business cut and her flawless clothes that stopped just the right places, but the voice cut in again.
You know how it felt, those last breaths. Don't you want her to feel just as good as you do now?
The man, the business man with the black eyes and the raspy, whispering voice materialized next to the woman, his fat fingers touching her delicate neck with slow, light strokes.
Just do it.

Writing WoM takes forever.
Writing action for the sidequest of the WoM is worse.

Writing WoM is still taking forever.

---

Cen glared gloomily out the window before continuing the restless pacing back and forth through his living-slash-bed room. His body had met some sort of empty state a few hours before, numb somehow, even though that black pit he imagined had taken a living, or, well, undeath or whatever black pits did, in his stomach ached with some sort of urge, yearning for something he couldn't quite place, except he was pretty sure it had something to do with creativity. But he lacked the motivation, inspiration and energy to do anything that might even be remotely similar to creating, which in turn made his frustration worse.
He sat down to write a bit on the assignment, one of many, but his mind was elsewhere, still punched about by the black pit of whatever it was. He sat there for a moment, two moments before once again rising, pacing like a tiger in a cage before he went for his coat, his keys and the door.

"Hey, Cen?"
"What? Who is it?"
"It's me, your left wrist."
"What is it..."
"I need assistance!"
"You are holding a pan, you are fine."
"Sir, I don't think I will be able to make it alone!"
"The right wrist and hand is preoccupied! You will have to do it alone!"
"MAYDAYMAYDAY!"
"****."

--

Noteworthy: Yes, stuff does make sense. But apparently only to me.
And my wrist is made of rubber. And pain.

I thought Strop wrote WoM. Or is it a joint collaboration between you and him?

Many of us write WoM, Cen and I are the hosts, and therefore do more of the writing, but by no means all of it! In fact there's more of the above sitting in an email which I have just read... and shall attend to later!

Strop.
I wonder why people keep commenting on this, instead of going directly to the source for their censored porn.

Or is it a joint collaboration between you and him?

He writes the majority. I write stuff about Cen, because apparently that guy is impossible to understand for some reason, and then I use a few hours trying to get and keep the plotline straight and non-changing for these last few *cough*years*cough* weeks.
Strop might be right on his "We don't write it all", but the WoM would have been an epic novel by now, if all the work on the plotline and keeping it clear had gone to writing instead...

In fact there's more of the above sitting in an email which I have just read... and shall attend to later!

The story has been sitting there for so long it is a torture to write... I wanna write about Bastian, he is tormented already...

Out of the 15 pages of art, conversation, poking fun, and writing, my favorite pieces so far have to be the bird on page 1 with the awesomely-detailed beak, SATURATED BIRD THING, and the dragon on page 7 that I assume has scars on face. I'm a sucker for art that has deep blending, not so much the art that contains 3 colors or shades to make abrupt changes in shadow. The awesome art are the pieces that take up the most of your time To me, the mounted raptor on page 7 had greatest potential if fully detailed; the shape was in place, there's background environment, and the overall scene would be epic. You should do some more of that if you have spare time!

Thanks Frank.
I wonder, did you ever see the entry for one of the makeshift art contests? The "Colour" entry? I got crap for it due to the colours, but it goes over the rainbow in the shading of a can, so it might be... something that would interest you.

Generally, I should do more serious art (attempts). Perhaps I will do that over the next couple of months instead.

Anyway, still haven't been around to draw much and obviously it is not for the stories you come here, so...
I found a page related to the AU.
It won't make sense, the style is all over the place and it is a comic drawn my myself, which is rarely a good thing, but you can have it anyway.

[Warning, strong language, horses dating, guys being drunk and playing some weird form of hockey inside, Kai]
http://i428.photobucket.com/albums/qq1/Cerene_Cerine/lovelyevening.jpg

Noteworthy, if Strop is to be believed: He would join in, apparently neverminding his date. Also pad-armor and further ruining the place.
The other horse is generally called "black arab chick", she would probably want a name.
The white dot next to her eye is a pearl in the invisible braid.
Yes, there is a story to this.
It is based in the AU.
Kai is there, don't ask.

And the WoM is still an absolute bother to write.

Haha great comic, I loved the t-shirt pictures too, although I personally am biased towards the ninja librarian, what was he holding in his left hand? I honestly think that the Unicorn/werewolf would make a better poster than it would t-shirt.

I've never read the Dresden Files, are they good?
