There was the whole slavery thing that happened a while back and, y'know, segregation - plus, in a UK example, the Bradford race-riots of the 90's.
... Bugger. I failed with what I meant to say and what I said.
As of late - as in the last 5 years within Europe that was a relatively small thing compared to segregation and etc. Racial attacks generally aren't actually based on the race, and there isn't much about race that people get into on a serious level anymore.
More recently prejudice against Arabs and fear of Islam.
But not entirely unreasonably, with the amount of terrorist attempts etc. It's not as if the media shines it out that it's a minority of Islam that would like us to die, honestly.
Then again, I don't trust the media as is.
