If you could become God what would you change in the world, I would try and make the president make a law where if you pollute you had to go to jail for like 2 years. Also make Mars completely livable so we wont have an over population on Earth.
The "concept" of pain would still be known. Just because physical pain does not exist doesn't mean that it can not exist in your immagination.
But that's like saying the concept of sex would be there, only without the sex. It's not the same. Knowing of something has much less effect than actually experiencing it.

He could make it so that you feel pain. But in the time you're dieing you would feel none.
Revoke my own existence, replacing it with a being that will be completely impartial to human affairs, yet benevolent as a whole. God is a being that transcends humanity, for a human to gain that kind of power, is to invite chaos.
I'd start blowing stuff up, causing plagues, etc. for a couple years. Put a lot of important things into perspective for a lot of stupid people. (Which I'm sure includes myself somewhere, but if I was a god I'd know everything soooo...)
I'd probably try to manifest myself clearly enough to as many priests as I could and say something like "Hey guys, you know you've been talking quite a bunch of bull**** about me. Would you mind not washing your laundry with my name and listen to what my son tried to teach you instead of singing how great he is and then going to hurt others like he's never been around?"

Case in point.
The one thing virtually everyone agrees on is that we as humans are imperfect, and make mistakes. God is an entity that has to be perfect, at all times, in all scenarios. The actions of God cannot favor one species over another, it must always be what is good for the universe as whole, not the tiny, backwater planet on the outer reaches of the Milky Way.
