is he like really militaristic?

Heiskanen? Hell ****ing yes. He's been in the military longer than anyone else in the platoon, including Richthofen. He's the platoon sergeant, remember? And he's not used to fighting the Americans and the British(who are relatively "nice), he's used to fighting the Soviets(who legally cannot be within 5 words of the adjective "nice&quot.

but the italians aren't even disturbed by it

Richthofen's Germans do the same thing. What rank is the officer, and 1-10 how highly decorated?

but the italians aren't even disturbed by it

He walks around pushing them all out of their bunks, if that is required.

I mean they line up for inspection, make their bunks, etc.(they got bunks and stuff right?)

****, well if he's from the Eastern front then how does he like the weather and the American tactics (Not throwing so many soldiers at you that you run out of bullets to shoot them with)

he's a 1st Lieutenant in charge of that particular part of the line, and it's a 3.6 but not all bull**** medals, he even has a Knights cross of the iron cross with oak leaves and swords, and other various campaign medals, a few other bravery/actions in combat medal and a wound badge in black

they all sleepily line up, but one man on the end falls asleep then falls over. Causing a hilarious domino effect

You do know that the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was the Nazi German equivalent of the Medal of Honor(and that there has only been 1 recipient of the Medal of Honor since the Vietnam War who was alive when he received it)? What I''m saying here is, it was a very prestigious award, pretty much the highest award that Nazi Germany had.
Richthofen salutes him.
"2nd Lieutenant Richthofen reporting for duty, sir."

Heiskanen swears in Finnish and hauls up the guy who fell on the end by his shirt collar.

Umm...didn't I already do that?

"Yes, i see you failed to hold the hill" he says matter-of-factly

"Yes, sir," Richthofen says. He continues to look straight forward, resisting the urge to look down, but there's still shame in his voice.

To give you some context, Hitler himself was usually the person who gave soldiers the actual medal at the ceremony(and yes, I'm talking about the one with oak leaves, not the super pimped out one).

Ha.
My grandma likes to tell the story about how my grandpa once had a toothbrush mustache like Hitler, and she refused to kiss him until he shaved it off. Of course, I hadn't been born yet.

Italians are still asleep and the Germans are on the ground, no word fro the people manning the pillboxes on the far left flank

Italians are still asleep and the Germans are on the ground, no word fro the people manning the pillboxes on the far left flank

"Pfc. Beckenbauer, Pvt. Metzinger, with me!" Richthofen orders. "We're going to check the *western/eastern/northern/southern* flank at the site of the explosion. The rest of you, stay here. Take up defensive positions." Richthofen raises his rifle at the ready position, and starts moving towards the left flank. Beckenbauer and Metzinger follow his example.

"You are okay, sir?" Heiskanen asks in broken German, helping up the first lieutenant.

you go and see nothing left of a lot of pilboxes, you see it's a full **** blown attack on your left flank

and the first lieutenant is already commanding his troops

and the first lieutenant is already commanding his troops

In that case, Heiskanen takes charge of the defenders.
"Kazhislov, Wagner; snipers!" he calls. "To the rooftop! Assault troopers, to the trenches! Machine gunners, to the parapets; man the artillery. The rest of you, stay down here and defend our flank!" He takes the latter position, defending the flank.

you go and see nothing left of a lot of pilboxes, you see it's a full **** blown attack on your left flank

So...where are the Americans?
"Beckenbauer!" Richthofen says. "You're the fastest runner. Go back to the first lieutenant(what's his name?) and tell him of this attack. I will stay here and hold this position. Metzinger, you check the other flanks. When you have done that, go back to the command as well and report what you have found. No heroics!"
