Many people online just slate people who are new to games as if they're terrible people. If you admit to being a noob you will get laughed at and insulted at. I told people I was proud of being a noob on an online game called stick arena and this guy just had a go at me for thinking it is ok to be one. Is this really how online gaming should be portrayed? As a place that is overly competitive where people who are bad will get insulted no stop being people who think they're really hardcore with their 3.94 KDs?
No, it wasn't a typo I think - "noob" as in the bad one and "noob" as in "newb" I think I meant.
People that brag about their "Skills" or put others down. What's the point?
The other phenomenon known as E-peen.
They're hated because they use weapons/tactics that are relatively easy to use and those tactics usually result in kills that are unfairly obtained
If it's in the game and not outside soft/hardware used to obtain it - it's fair, and it can only really be that simple. Plus that often justifies intelligence, not being a noob which is actually a bad thing. The hate towards it thus is unfair in itself, if that's your definition of noob.
The one place a person deserves to be called a noob in a FPS is when they ONLY use an overpowered explosive launcher/gun. You look at they're stats after the game and they went 20-4, and they are only leve 5 or some other low rank. Noob Tubers especially in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. I agree with HighFire on kids whining that they were shot and killed by you. It is a game, not your pet dying. That is all I have to say on this matter. Thank You
On Battle for Immortals and Perfect world international, being a noob= -Don't know anything about the game -Don't know how to play There are quests for go in dungeons, hard to find people for help because of the low level ! High level people must help newbies ! They was newbies too but they think it's a waste of time ! Sometimes we have nice people and other who have reroll think they are pro, they know how to level up fast !
Don't be mad at me if I'm wrong, but isnt being new to something called being a newb, and generally anoying team killers noobs. Personaly i hate noobs (my vertion) and dont mind newbies (new people), as long as they at least say they dont know everything and not brag abbout how epic they will be.
I love noobs. I love using flak jacket to deflect a noobtube, or harassing someone on bf3 knifing a camper and then having my friend revive him and then i knife him again. It's hilarious. I love noobs! Especially on bodycount where they don't know what to do, i just spawn **** them.
Yes flame, that is true. Everybody hates campers. But you need to also stop using an overloading amount of CAPS LOCK. It doesn't 100% show intelligence. =/
I think the word noob means this: Someone who is running around for no reason in the middle of the map, screaming over their mike, getting killed, and raging whenever you kill them. I mean, I'm okay with people who are new. I rage whenever I'm actually tactically searching for people then somebody just snipes me from 5 feet away. Yeah, people who are new are fine if they don't match that description.
Depends on what you mean by the word noob. If you mean a new player, then I think it's because all the pros get mad over how bad they are at the game. But they shouldn't be, they were once like that and most people get better over time. If you mean someone who intentionally ruins the game, well, that's self explanatory.
when i start pwning on some multiplayer games, i get called a noob alot. why is that?
Depends on the game you are playing. Some people just get mad that they are doing bad or having a bad day. For games like CoD, if you have a low rank and are leveling the competition, you'll be called a noob just cause. For computer multiplayers, usually its just cause they are mad.
