Many people online just slate people who are new to games as if they're terrible people. If you admit to being a noob you will get laughed at and insulted at. I told people I was proud of being a noob on an online game called stick arena and this guy just had a go at me for thinking it is ok to be one. Is this really how online gaming should be portrayed? As a place that is overly competitive where people who are bad will get insulted no stop being people who think they're really hardcore with their 3.94 KDs?
I actualy never heard of someone hating on noobs in any of the games I play.... weird. The only time I hear the word noob being thrown around is when someone does something another guy dosen't like cause he never thought of doing that so was owned by it, I never actualy heard of people hating actualy newbies.
the word noob is over rated these days...I think its time to come up with a more mature non geeky word.
I personally dislike the word. I play alot of online game and just because you play the game different than others doesnt classify yourself as a noob...Everyone has their own playing styles. I would just accept if you just call me an idiot for a mistake I caused...I would of accepted that. You just have to remember everyone was a "noob" at one time.
I think that maybe the good players should help the noobs instead of bashing them. If only the internet worked like that.
Totally agree. Everyone was a "noob" at some point. They went through the same thing at some point. If you dont like working with noobs then maybe online games isnt the place for you because there will always be someone that is new to the game and is still learning. Even pros will learn something they didnt know time to time then you think they arnt so pro.
Accualy i agree with ellaaay. Because noobs thy're annoying but all of us we are not good at something. e.g i'm good in leauge of legends i cant play cod 6 like a pro, because i m not so good at it . But others people do . So that dosent means that i'm noob at cod 6 i just need more trainning. So we have to help noobs to stop be noobs by assisting them. as in leauge of legends everybody says gl hf ( good luck have fun)
It's anoying when the person hasn't just started, like I mean when they've being playing for a while, and they're still as bad as someone just starting to play.
The worst type of noobs are ones who think they know all about the game and think they are so very good at it, when in fact it's just the opposite. They try to tell everyone what to do and how to play, and verbally attack other players who play differently or do not listen to them. They will often backstab too.
