I think it does but as Hahiha said all people's beliefs in religions will vary.
That's because there's no evidence what so ever and it's completely word of mouth/interpretation of thousands year old texts, leaving anyone who finds it an "expert" on their own religion because there are no facts or logical thinking involved at all.
Simple word playing. Everyone is born atheist (without belief in a deity), and at some point certain people acquire a certain belief. Those who don't, and those who loose said belief afterwards, are atheists.
and the faith in science.
That does not apply for atheism in general, even though it may seem to apply on many. But atheism isn't pro-science per definition, this is acommon misconception of the real 'atheism' definition.
But I realized after posting the wiki link, that I was a bit clumsy before. I said that I think everyone has an own personal religion; it seems what I meant is just what is called personal belief in the article. So I can correct myself by saying: Everyone has an own personal belief that always differs to a certain aspect from their religion. Therefore it can be said that, while individuals can have a perfect personal belief, a religion will never be perfect or the good one since it always differs in some way from personal belief.

It is based on facts and ideas that they had at the time and since they had no proof other than what they could observe, they suspected it to be true. But were're going a bit off topic here. I think religion is a good thing as it gives people a purpose in life. I'm just not at all convinced by it so I concentrate on making my own life purposeful rather than just so I can get into paradise at the end of my life.
Also I think HahiHa has a very good point, religion should be personal, being in groups and it being called names just leads to segregation.
Is just being happy and living life the way you want to and think best not a purpose?

It sort of leads to mob mentality. I don't mind people holding religious beliefs - I don't believe they are right but I won't just randomly attack them because they tell me they are whatever religion. The only time I get into debates about religion is when they claim something of which they have no proof or try to enforce their morals/beliefs on others who do not hold them.
Pretty much how I see it is the more vague you get (The less you claim) the less INCORRECT that religion will be, thus making it more "correct" that others.
So whichever religion claims pretty much nothing and is only in name a religion, that would be the most correct one.
