Yes. Read that again. Vietnam War Opinions, not facts. So, post whatever thoughts you have about that war, e.g. whether you think it was worth it, etc. Also, keep in mind that you should justify your opinions if it is strongly biased.

I hope this isn't a dup!

the war of 1812

The war of 1812 was more of draw.
the alamo war

Alamo was a battle not a war. The war was the Texas War of Independence, which was won by the Texians.

The siege of the Alamo (February 23 â" March 6, 1836)

That doesn't make sense. Look up the Battle of Verdun, that went on for about 9 or 10 months, but it wasn't called the Verdun War. It was a battle in WWI... just a very long and bloody battle.

canada burned the white house down

Britain did that in 1814 after the Battle of Bladensburg, not Canada.

It was British troops along with some colonial marines made up of former slaves from all over. Although there could have been some Canadians involved. They burned all of the public buildings in Washington down not just the White House.

Speaking of dumb, his name was Ho Chi Minh. Any particular reason why you're using expletives about a man who was considered by many to be extremely intelligent and well-educated?

Britain decided to attack/burn DC in retaliation for when American troops attacked/burned the town of York (now Toronto), because that was part of the British territory of Upper Canada. Canada wasn't its own federal state until 1867.
