I think that games should say whether they are suitable for young kids or not. For example, I know a game on here called "Reimagine: The Game" It is really inappropriate and has lots of bad words. I don't think that it was appropriate for kids so it should have a warning saying whoever plays it should at least be a teen. I say that because I know somebody has a little brother. My friend was playing the game and afterwards she exited out. Her brother found the game and start playing it. He knew what everything meant and was scarred. So that's why I think there should warnings[b]

Parents should watch what they're kids are playing online.

And to have an account, you need to be 13 anyways, which isn't really that juvenile.

It doesn't matter.

I know a game on here called "Reimagine: The Game"

I love that game. That is the third 'The Game' series. There is The Game, Replaying The Game and Reimagine : The Game :. None of them have warnings.

If you really want a warning on the game you have to talk to the developer instead of posting it in a forum. There is also a 'Dark Cut' series. There is Dark Cut, Dark Cut 2 and Dark Cut 3. All of the Dark Cuts have warnings on them that are recommended for the years 17 and over.

I think that 'The Game' Should have a warning to be recommended for the years 13 and over because it is not that bad of a game. It also really funny and i love them.

The link for 'Dark Cut' Didn't work so here it is:

Dark Cut

Dark Cut is more of a cartoon, Dark Cut 2 is well drawn and animated and Dark Cut 3 seems very realistic.

Not all parents have the time to do that and also, most parents or guardians want to e able to trust their children.

I say the parents shouldn't allow their children on the computer if they're under 13 anyway, If they're so concerned about kids seeing a little bit of blood or hearing some dude say a bad word or two.

Not all parents have the time to do that and also, most parents or guardians want to e able to trust their children.

And few kids care for warnings.
This has been suggested a trillion times. I don't know why no proper staff comment has been made on it (or, well I do, but that's beside the point), but I do know that you should go suggest it on getsatisfaction.com/armorgames, and not here.
Or, if you don't want that, then at least in the Agv3 section, because nothing is going to be changed on this current version, so suggestions here are as effective as hitting a rotten cucumber against a window and hope your computer turns on.

More so, do something yourself: Don't leave the search history up. Don't play games on your computer you don't want others to play (that is both flash and video games), or make sure that no one else can use your gurram computer.
AG is intended for 13 years and up. Some games might have a lower rating, while others might have a higher, but it is still intended for people that are able to make a conscious decision on whether or not they can handle playing a given game.
Thus AG has a safety rating of 13 for ALL GAMES.
So your 6 year old shouldn't be playing here anyway, and if they are, it would be your responsibility as an adult/sibling/responsible person to make sure it won't happen, or at least make sure they keep away from the games you think will be bad for them.
AG is an internet site, not a babysitter.

*Generic you has been used in this post. If you take offence, either grow a thicker skin or stop assuming everything is about you.
Thanks.

I think Cen, that the parents who make such threads are worried for kids 13 and above. The mollycoddling of teenagers at a splat of blood is pretty eye rolling.

I am 22. I have absolutely no ability to handle horror (paradoxically, I enjoy the genre incredibly), so I avoid such games. I have been avoiding such games since I started using the internet, because I have the common sense to know that dark, gritty textures will make me unable to sleep for weeks.
I assume other teens and adolescents have the same ability to press the little X in the corner, if they cannot handle what they are looking at.
If they don't, then there is nothing wrong with the site, there is something wrong with the parents.
So, in my opinion (and my opinion only, AG's stance is most likely that they have the 13-and-up rating, and thus they will keep warnings for anything above that and otherwise not break the rules) is that this is in the hands of the parents. Make a proper decision, and either keep your kids off the internet, or do as you would with anyone else, and have a talk about it, keep an open environment and let the kids develop normally instead of into sick little puppies that will tell me they can do whatever they want, because I am not their dad.
Either put down some limits, let them explore on their own and be ready to talk to them about what they have experienced, or for the love of all that is holy and good, don't let them ever get in my way.

Ahem.
Let's take it again.
If you wish any changes to the site, please visit the proper sections (this is not a proper section, and if you think it is, you haven't read the sticky, and you should just shut up now and go remake the thread somewhere else), or use getsatisfaction.com/armorgames, as that will put you in contact with the staff directly and they will be able to either give an explanation on why this is not getting implemented, or tell you it is a great idea, and include it in AGv3.
Either way, you will get to voice your concern, and you will ever get the official stand on it, or your idea implemented and all will be good and sparkly and perhaps fitting for the traditional Christmas/holidays, and not the tiny hell that it currently is.
YAY!
