Live a Live is on the Super Nintendo. Since this has been out for more than two decades, chances are slim to actually get this cartridge. You'd be better off getting it on a ROM to play on the PC if you're interested.
actually i think that gta 4 has a really good storyline and great gameplay, its about a guy from a war named niko bellic, and he wants to get revenge because someone betrayed him, and his cousin convinced him to come to america cause hes got the "american dream" good looking women, big house with spa, lots of money, fast cars, yet his cousin only lives in a dirty apartment,bad job, and yeah. story is DEEP
I would have to say the Metal Gear Solid saga, if not that Bioshock is a lead runner. Then again any of the Silent Hill games are very compelling and mind bending.
Any Final Fantasy from 6-12 is awesome.
There are far too many with good stories, at the end it really depends on your own preference.
I think MW and MW2 and MW3 have a great storyline. I also love the Assassin's Creed storyline.
Fight Night:Champion also has a great storyline in Champion Mode. It's about Andre Bishop, a young and great boxer, who's goal is to rise up through the ranks and beat his rival, Isaac Frost, for the title. One fight, he is told to lose, the ref is bribed as are the judges but he still wins by KO, this angers the other manager, or fight promoter whatever he is, who sets Andre up, he gets his henchmen to ambush Andre, and when Andre fights back they reveal their badges. CIA. So Andre goes to prison and has a hard time, since he's black and he has to fight many skinheads, he does bareknuckle boxing in there and when he gets out, weighing more, he sees that Isaac Frost badly hurt his brother, and calls him out. So now Andre must rise up again, through the amateur divisions, and fight Isaac Frost for the World Heavyweight title.
ah, Bastion, for XBOX arcade is up there. maybe not for story itself, but the storytelling, both characterwise and just the sheer awesomeness of the narration. story was spectacular as well, though. very emotionally touching, especially a part near the end. if you've played it you might know what i'm talking about, but it involves a little animation with one of the soldiers who's been trying to kill you, and it just for some reason is extremely touching. won't spoil it though.
not to mention bioshock, chrono trigger, majora's mask, so many others.
