So. . . What do you think? Is AG overrated? I think it is. Quote from a previous post of mine (From the link above).
Because. Just because. "Hey moderator, you forgot to delete that post!" Hey, well guess what? JUST IGNORE IT. "Oh, I'm reporting Cen because _____!" WELL GUESS WHAT? GROW UP YOU BABY "I don't know how to favorite a game" DOES IT REALLY MATTER? "Can you add me as a friend?" NO I CANNOT, YOU FOREVER ALONE PERSON. "Why did you remove me as a friend?" YOU. . . ARE FOREVER ALONE.
I have had way to many people ask me "Why did you remove me from your friends list?" First of all, is AG supposed to be some sort of social networking site? Probably not. Especially when everyone can see them and moderators can delete them. Then, there's people who complain that they can't get enough AP. First of all, does it really matter? AP in reality means close to nothing. Sure, you get armatars. Then people complain that they don't like them. Then they complain that they should have seasonal armatars.
etc.
So. . . This is just my view on the topic. You all are welcome to share your opinions.
Armorgames IS NOT overrated... ITS JUST AWESOME!!! lol
...
Just that? Please. Elaborate. Sure. I believe it is awesome. But there are some things that I do think is overrated. For example, I believe the whole idea with the moderator thing may be slightly overrated. With the whole ban thing, etc.

I agree... just because ur a mod doesn't mean ur like better than others. There are some people that are helpful like mods but aren't mods. Such as Nichodemus, or cen (now)... that's all invalid.
i agree the ban thing may be aver rated seeing as how everbody thinks they can ban who the what when they want.but you made a forum called armorgames over rated?which means to other people that you thought the whole system is overrated.it was a decent idea but posting it like that just didn't give it a great start
I believe the whole idea with the moderator thing may be slightly overrated. With the whole ban thing, etc.
So you want Armor Games without mods? Take a look at Kong and see what AG will end up like if there weren't mods. I know Kong has mods, but they are really lax about rules.
just because ur a mod doesn't mean ur like better than others
It doesn't, but who acts like that? They're basically the police of the site. I've never seen any of them proclaim "I'm better 'cause I'ma mod and you're not"
everbody thinks they can ban who the what when they want.
Wait what are you talking about? The 'You're banned' thread is only a game. Mods and admins are the only people who can ban users.
you made a forum called armorgames over rated?which means to other people that you thought the whole system is overrated.it was a decent idea
The idea of a forum is for discussion. I made this thread hoping that people can discuss their opinions on this topic.
but posting it like that just didn't give it a great start
That's why I put a question mark in the title.
just because ur a mod doesn't mean ur like better than others.
Yes, I agree with you. But I do believe that the moderator position gives you a little bit of authority
So you want Armor Games without mods?
I like the idea of mods on ArmorGames. But sometimes the idea of the ban and other stuff (deleting posts, spam) can become a big problem, when it can be dealt with easily and without hassle.
The games they make aren't too good.
Most of the games on AG come from other game designers who put their games on AG.
Armorgames is kind of overated. They just get games.
I see where you're going with that. I guess you're saying that ArmorGames should stick with the idea of having only games?
i ment like some people think they can just run to a mod or somthing and demand tht sombody be banned.being a mod definetly gives authority.it was smart to put the ? at the end but still nobody waz really on your side the whole entire dessucion.
still nobody waz really on your side the whole entire dessucion.
Yes I understand that. I am perfectly fine with it, and I expected it to happen.
i ment like some people think they can just run to a mod or somthing and demand tht sombody be banned.
As long as they have a good reason, then yes.
in repsponse to ngng10 about games not being to good. that is why there are like 10000 games . for dfferent people.just because there are 5-6 games u don't like don't mean who thing is terrible
I like the idea of mods on ArmorGames. But sometimes the idea of the ban and other stuff (deleting posts, spam) can become a big problem, when it can be dealt with easily and without hassle.
How does this contribute to ArmorGames being overrated? In what way does this make the popularity of ArmorGames diluted, stagnant, and reprocessed?

I would enjoy this better than if someone directly confronts the user that is offending in some way or is harrassing them OR making a post in the community about it generating hate from multiple parties. In the reporting way, the issue is cleaned up faster and with less mess.
