I've had an AG account for a while now and i am around 600 or so, but I wouldn't say I'm very recognizable. What I mean is, people don't go "hey I know him" if I post on their profile or comment on a game or in one of the forums. There are people, however, who are known throughout AG. People like Firetail_madness, Knight_34, the mods and admins, etc. Who are some well known Armor Gamers?

Knowing way too many people I would say I remember 2014631 even though he was perma banned but I would remember nichomendus for having the armatar that seems to fill in perfectly with his name XD.

It's the combination between high forum prices and a bad economy. The post price per gallon has gone up to an unbelievably high price, and since nobody has a job anymore, people can't afford to post like they used to.


And that's why I've also closed shop at a few other Forums.

Anyway, lesson learnt, minimal participation in the Forums gets you recognition all around, wall to wall chat gets the attention of a small circle of friends. I think the former should be the yardstick if anyone wants to size others up. But whatever. Inconsequential.

Yeah that kind of happens when you are gone from a site for a while. When I came here to play AG the first time, I was playing on AGv1. When I came back to play after two years of being gone I was thinking that I may have been on the wrong site.

And the latter gets you a nice time in the time-out chair, where you have no hands and you must post.

I don't think it's posting count at all that gets people recognized. You see them on the community wall many times, but what are the posts? You get recognition for the posts and how your posts are. One can look at another's post count and see that they post a lot on the forums, but have no clue what those posts were like.

They made a movie? My movie catalogue suddenly feels inadequate.

Not referring to the posts count per se, but actually seeing the actual posts of the user in the Forums. Hope that clears things up.

My ninja level must be improving, I can recognise so many more users than those who would recognise me. Back in 2008 it was more like rock-star ninja, lol.

You know what bothers me though. I keep getting credit for the good stuff Cen does, and he keeps getting heckled for drawing "horse porn" despite the fact that they were clearly posted by me. What is with that!?

Maybe it's just that everyone thinks Cenere has the perfect personality, that if he posts something that anyone doesn't like, it becomes a huge issue. Of course, we don't mind it coming the fun loving Strop (that I've seen in the WoM).
Seriously, Cenere has his own fan club. Most users I've seen don't even know him, but treat him as if he were a God. So again, horse porn...

On the contrary, everyone thinks Cenere is Strop. Which was a valid excuse when the two both wore blank white armatars, but now it's a bit outdated; as orange =/= green.
