I hope you haven't fallen for this age-old trick and actually clicked on the link.
However, if you have, welcome. This is where ideas, plans, and dreams are built.

I think I enjoy these ramblings, as unfocused as they may be.

Let the mythical creatures rule the earth. Now that's an idea.

Depends on what mythical creatures you leave in charge. A world ruled by unicorns would be very peaceful and easy to live in, but put a fire dragon in office and you can kiss your tranquility goodbye.

and what would happen if a nature-dragon would be the ruler?

Then again it's a good idea so americans would hate it and want more drugs

Oh, please. You can't just refer to the entire nation when you are talking about something like this. There are maybe about 10% or less of our population that take illegal drugs, and those that do are mostly border hoppers or are mentally ill, mind you. And, yes, we Americans have many drugs, drugs that are not illegal and save hundreds of lives every day. Of course, you wouldn't know, considering you obviously do not live in America.

Sorry, just had to jump out at that. Anyway, back on topic.
What if there were videogames where you entered them, and it was like real life? And if it was, like, say a shooter game it would give you a gun that seems real and it shoots real and stuff, but it is only in the game.

medicine are drugs too.

and if you die in the game you will die in real life too. but would be interesting to play adventure or point and click games like they were real.

Code Lyoko! Anyone? ANYONE?!

What if you had the power to influence how people feel? Like, you could make someone feel happy. You could make someone feel sad. You could make them confused, give them a headache, make them feel drugged, confident, insecure, envious, apathetic, you can make them feel however you want without even coming in contact with them. Their feelings and emotions would be under your complete control. And you can force these emotions to extremes. So depressed that they cry and feel suicidal. So happy and energetic that they die of adrenaline overdose. Imagine that. Now imagine, it was in the power, of a , narcissistic sociopath.

How about this? An easy way to make your ideas (like the ones in this thread) a reality. Could you imagine if we could make some of these possible?

I saw a movie where a guy died in his dream by eating himself and died in reality, as a result of his dream death, in the movie.

All hell would break loose if just about any of these ideas were possible.

What kind of movie is that? Seriously, how can there be a storyline for something like that?

That was only part of the movie. A kind of small part. You should check out the movie. Actually it was a TV show and was broken up into three episodes.

I don't see how there could even be context behind something like that.

I'd look into it if I knew what it was called.

What if we could make any music that plays our minds play in real life?

Yes. Yes it would. Be it would be fun wouldn't it? We have about 30 pages of ideas here, I'm sure if we could make some of the less lethal ones possible, it would make a lot of people happy.

I have an idea for a man who could think faster than the average person. He could talk at the rate his brain processed stuff, which was really, really, really fast. He could talk about whatever was going on around him as he saw it.

What I have been doing is trying to train myself so that whenever I talk in my mind it is fast talking because talking at a normal pace just means that your thinking is being slowed down.
imagine science and magic together in one world.

Haha magic IS science, there is no unexplainable.
cuz it's like a trillion dollar idea.

Sounds like a trillion to run as well, think of all that wasted energy... not worth it in our current state.
And mythical creatures running around? Oh god, I don't even want to imagine the lengths animal activists would go to protect them;

Haha that remindes so much of this if you watch it the whole way through you'l know what I mean (I think it has some cuses)

I hate to be the one to say that this would make a cool movie idea, but....hell, I'm always the one to say that thing I just said.

Kinda remindes me of a mix of dorian gray and a goose bump episode.
but put a fire dragon in office and you can kiss your tranquility goodbye.

that sounds like stereotyping to me, what if that dragon was actually a really good (and not war mongering) leader? and the unicorn was a drug addict?

But what would happen when you die? the realism of the game would probably kill you in RL because of shock.

I would be a really good music creator then, it would be so much easier.

How bout a videogame where when you start the game you have to escape from a pack of demented wolves that chase you until you go into a dark hallway which leads to a dark room where when you turn on the light there is a women brutally mutilated and all the objects in the room are saying eriely "he did it, it was him" over and over until you wake up, in a mental assylum.
The setting of the game is mainly the mental asylum where you will be enduring something worse than hell. You will constantly be wondering whether the things that you see are really there or not since they look so real, but none of the people who take care of you see the things. There will be one patient who tells you he sees them also and will help you through some of the game, but will die in a brutal way (I was thinking having him crucified by a boss) which would leave you in a once agian lonely aand horrifying state with not much reassurence of your sanity.

Another setting will be known as the outside world, it is kindof like in Silent Hill:The Room, wheere you will randomly have enterences to other worlds opening up in your bed area. It could be anything from a room full of boxes to a forest.

You will start as having nothing as a way to fight back agianst enimies and will have to run from them, but then you will find syringes that when you inject them into yourself they give you powers in the outside worlds like a sword or gun. Also you would get strength syringes that will also affect how powerful you are in the real world as well so you would be able to better fight off your caretakers (which is a crucial part to survival, maybe I wont do a button mashing thing though, maybe just an auto avoidence and planning ahead)

that's all I really have so far other than the basic colors are going to be
Real World: Bright white, muddy black, dull grey, (and when the other world seeps into the real world) bright neon green, light source color: bright white

Other World: Really pitch black, dark red, lightsource bright neon green (which will be used quite a bit, gives an eiery feel)

But...don't we want that?

I think I might steer the subject to something else. What is a part of you that you can't explain?
