I like the math in the riddle. The difference between the first and second answer is that ultimatetitan added the bellboys 2 to the 27 and Jazmoon took the bellboys 2 from the 27

You are not trying to total 30 pounds in this sense, you are looking for 25. 27 minus two is 25. There is no missing pound here.
