Oh we are talking about games? I thought character XD But I like sonice because he can turn into super sonic! The only thing mario can do is turn really huge(Mega Mushroom) But only for a few seconds...

Super Sonic rocks. Actually, characters is a better idea to compare, but I always think of the comics. My big bro had a ton of Sonic the Hedgehog comics. They rocks.

Super Sonic is totally awesome.I like Sonic better then Mario because hes just better in a way.Some Mario games are classic like u said.

Sonic is cool, but I still think Mario is a little better.

sonic. when it comes to the old games i like sonic better. when it comes to the newer games i like mario better (the last sonic game i liked was shadow the hedgehog). when its about character then i like sonic better too. i mean, he has super speed, could turn into a saw in the old series and actually has a personality. mario just jumps XP

The new sonic games are pretty cool though.

Mario games are fun,but Sonic games are the best and hes just awesome in his ways.

I prefer Sonic. See Sonic Generations, for example. It's way better than New Super Mario Bros. Wii.

For games I like mario better, sonic really slides alot and the games are usually really easy to beat, mario is always quite a challenge (newest one I played was super mario sunshine so I don't know if they got easier after that) With mario you get only one life and a star or mushroom, but with sonic you could get hurt with one ring left, pick up dropped ring, and get hurt unlimited times if you just pick up the ring.
For the two characters I would go with mario because he could jump really high, do a flip, jump with so much force that it bends the floor above him, and the fact that he has awsome kicking power make him better than a fast sonic.

i love both i grew up with both i love old sega games but the new ones are...okay to say the least but i have yet to see a nintendo game that i am not a fan of so il go ahead and say mario

I haven't played very many Sonic games, but so far I like Mario better
