pretty much all i see is a bunch of people putting lots of threads about sports events on the video game forum and i am tired of it, if you have been posting these threads than stop spamming and annoying the rest of us
yes please! i cant stand it! its on the forum games too and no one can see my forums! its so annoying! mods, i beg of you, use your mod-powers to make them all disappear! please!
It's spam bots, and they seem to have gotten 300% worse in the last 2 hours. I'm sick of it as well, and I think Armor Games should require a random code to be put in before each post to prevent spamming. There's 3 pages of pure spam on the forums now >
yeah...yeah...yeah good idea. matrix i know, but im just saying. and really isnt this spam too? its in the video games forum it should belong in the tavern... oh well i say we go on and old fashioned raid and kill the spam bots! get the torches and pitch forks!
Seriously, advertising is a fact of life. Yes, it's against AG rules. Yes, it's annoying. But does making this thread change what they're going to do? No. So all you've done is contribute to the spam by making more spam related to their spam.
oh yes sorry for putting this on the video game forum, it's all i usually go on and i thought it was only on the video game forum so i posted it on this one, oh and what is spam bot, from what i understand it's a program designed to spam is that correct?
@kasic i am totally aware of that link. i have already read it. i have also already stated that this thread itself is spam. i also was not responsible for creating this thread, but i stand for its purpose. their is nothing wrong with that. it is obvious that this thread will be locked eventually but in its own twisted way, it is getting the word out about this, as many users do not look at the stickies that often. look how many views.....54. look how many views this thread, 158. if the mods wished for this thread to be locked, it would have been done a while ago.
and yeah, spam bots are programs that spam sites uncontrollably. you know the random letters in weird font you need to type in to make an account on most sites? yeah, that helps prevent against spam bots.
