Well as the one sane Republican in this thread, I feel it my duty to defend us conservatives.
Macfan... you're making me a very SAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD panda.
Obama is the worst president in history( in my opinion)
I respect your right to have an opinion, I just feel as if you've made a major miscalculation in worst presidents. I feel Buchanan (who let the country split) or Carter (who gave up on the country in something called "The Sweater Offensive"
is more fitting of the Worst President title. Obama isn't too bad, he's just not all too good either.
Another 4 years would be deadly.
What? I really don't think that just electing a half-way "meh" president is akin to shooting oneself. Shooting oneself in the foot maybe, but not a full-on headshot.
Way to go for discriminating against non-Americans. Then I remember the level of political awareness many Amercans such as yourself show in the Forums and I roll my eyes.
Most of us aren't that bad. Just the Jesus-Freaks. Allow me to introduce myself, The Friendly Neighborhood Satanist, seeker of all things based on fact and reason. I am the 1%, and abhor the ignorant actions of Macfan, who makes me, a die-hard patriot, ashamed to call myself American. Don't judge a group by the value of one of its parts, my friend.
For those of us thinking logically:
The republicans will not win
There are millions of good reasons to support this claim
Well then, let's hear them! At least two-million, right now!
It's really funny how you've said this on every political thread, but when people ask you what he's done, you've never given an answer.
It really is aggravating, I must say.
1. Santorum
This man is too heavily influenced through the church to be the leader of a nation where the church and the state are on two separate playing fields. I'm not hating on the concept of religion, but when trying to govern the most powerful and influential nation on Earth, one does not go to an intangible force that really cannot be proven exists. I'm a Satanist and I'm willing to admit that even Beelzebub might not exist and is just a figment, and that little piece of doubt is what will keep a theologically-minded man a horrendous pick for POTUS.
Concerning Romney - Meh. I really think he's a new coat of paint on Obama, really (save Obamacare). He's just ever-so-slightly more Right (not correct, but right-wing). As a devout Capitalist, I find it critical to elect a man like Ron Paul or Newt Gingrich in, but Ron Paul is, unfortunately, too extremely Right to be a widely-acclaimed candidate and Gingrich is a bit shady. Romney, I feel, is the first step in the path towards the good old days of Ronald Reagan and Richard Nixon.
