personally i can't stand quickscoping unless they just happen to have a sniper out when someone comes around or something like that, they have almost ruined the multiplayer on MW2 DOWN WITH QUICKSCOPERS
I don't mind them, simply 'cos I do it myself. But when I'm on my quickscoping class, it's all I do. I don't pull out my secondary for close-range, I don't hardscope at medium-long range. I quickscope, and don't camp.
ONly noobs quick scope.

I'm not a quickscoper. I just know how to quickscope, and do it occasionally.

you also only need steady aim then quick scoping is even easier for the scoper
I use marksman for the odd time I know somebody's there but I can't see them, because it's a dark area and it's just their head showing. Which is rare, so I don't really use a 3rd perk.
When I "hard" scope I always get kills and the only reprecussion is I show up on radar. If a quick shot misses, unless ur using like a semi auto insteadd of bolt action, You are going to get killed.
My shots either don't miss, or I kill on the 2nd or 3rd.
You just think a quickscoper is a noob because you can't seem to kill them. Isn't that also a bit biased?
And since you can't quickscope, what does that make you? Because it takes way more skill to quickscope than run around with an assault rifle or shotgun.
i hate quikscooper its so stupid cause you turn a corner and there they are killing you in one hit or if your lucky youll get there screen all red from blood then you die and i also hate them because when they decide to stop quikscooping then you have a whole team of snipers in places you can hardly see but they see and kill you that and most of the time they mod their guns to do more dmg to be more accurate even though the accuracy is allready high that and when their in a tight situation they pull out akimbo fmg9s and kill you in like 5 hits let me shorten this for you quikscoopers ssuucckk :| :|
they should completely take out quickscoping and just give the snipers a bit better hip-fire accuracy because let's face it if you're 1 foot away from someone you should have 100% accuracy hip-firing not about maybe 25% accuracy DOWN WITH QUICKSCOPING
dev gets this. its so hard to get to this "100%" acuracy you guys are talking about. even then its not 100%. it is extremely difficult to get good at this, so dont hate apriciate.
im saying respect them. they are doing this to have fun. it is extremely hard to learn how to quickscope, and even harder to actually get good at it. im saying that they are playing the game how they want to, and they are pretty good. and quick scoping does alow for sniper to move around without using the secondaries. it gives them a chnce to stand aganst the smgs and the ars and the lmgs and such.
like i said give the sniper rifles better hip fire accuracy because as i already said i don't like that i could be 1 foot away from someone with a sniper and shoot from the hip and miss him most of the time from what i remember from trying to do it, it's just stupid that you can't hit someone from pointblank with a hip fired sniper
What's with this talk about it being difficult? It's not. Play with a sniper in MW2 or MW3 with the right perk setup and you can have it down within half an hour.
Do I think it's cheap to quickscope? Yes, because you shouldn't be able to scope into a sniper rifle in the same time it takes to blink, and you have nothing to counter the one shot kill of most snipers.
I don't think the sniper should be instant kill because it wouldn't kill anyone in real life instantly unless you hit someone in certain areas. But its alright.
There are a few ways they could fix them. Make all the weapons weaker then add in stopping power and juggernaut. They could also make it so that snipers will only kill with headshots, everywhere else will take two shots unless they were injured.
