I like both bands but Linkin Park has better lyrics and there music is way better!

Eh this one is close for me. But i'd have to pick Link Park over Green Day because of LP's DJ, Joseph Hahn. He has some amazing solo songs out there.

I think Green Day is better. Mathewblahblahblah you hut hte fuck up. They're not emo. They are punkrock. And if someone inults Rise Against then i come to ur land kick ur butt!

Green day is more punk, and Linkin Park is more alternative . . . I don't know they both are good, can't choose.

Personally, Linkin Park. Their music is diverse, transforming from album to album. Listen to 'In the End', then 'Bleed it Out' and finally 'New Divide'. That's what I call talent.

Well Green Day has good music too, just that after awhile, I get bored with all the emo lyrics and eye-shadow.

Um... Linkin Park and Green Day are two completely different genres. Green Day is New Age Punk Rock, and Linkin Park is a bad combination of rap and rock. They are good though. But, if the person who made this thread really wanted an answer, I would say Green Day because they are pretty good musicians and made like two semi-rock operas. Plus their album Dookie is pure genius, and same with Nimrods.
