Since the popular thread from 2011 has gone to hell with outdated images, false page redirections and 4 blank pages of deleted posts, I think it's time to start anew for the 2012 community.
I'll start out by posting some strange (but real) sodas I found on Google. You can be the ones to determine whether or not you'd ever try any of them.
The label on the last one is real, but the flavor is fake. You'll have to learn the Jones way of doing things.
Chips are another favorite when it comes to bizarre flavors.
^ Those BLT chips are actually not too bad.
And, of course, the Canadian classic...
If you know of any strange flavors or you just happen to find some online, post them here. Pictures are always appreciated.
Ever had breakfast links before? They're generally somewhat sweet, and they go great with maple syrup.
Let's be honest here. My relationship with American cuisine is practically non-existent. The only exception is peanut butter and it's not going quite well... One month later, the jar is still on my fridge, though it's almost empty. Gosh, this thing is really heavy! So, no, I've never eaten breakfast links or maple syrup.
That candy bar reminds me, has anyone seen these in stores yet?
Not this one in particular, but I've tried another one which seems quite similar and that's sold here. Not bad, I guess, though it's a bit too sweet for me and I'm definitely not fond of those crunchy things inside the bar.
The cookie one looks delicious. What is in that second one, jelly beans?
Yeah, jelly beans with smarties or something similar, they kind of fizz up in your mouth, quite amazing. I'm not the biggest fan of the cookie ones but others seem to adore them so I guess it's just me.
They've also got this flavour as well, never got around to buying it but I'll try it out soon.
Don't get me wrong, maybe it's delicious, but the idea of a syrup flavoured sausage doesn't seem quite appealing
Hey, delicious or not, they named the brand after us! They must have had a problem with copyright infringement, though, because they snuck a 'u' into the name... those conniving English sausage canners! =P
@ Ginger Ale Kit-Kat I don't want one unless it's nice and bubbly! =D
@ Candy Bars Infused With Things Jelly beans, cookie pieces, M&M's... how about...
Beef jerky!
Might have to scroll a bit for the second one... if it even works! I'm not sure if that type of link is still censored here...
My most humble apologies. Here is the mac & cheese dog:
Eeyuck, no thanks... I'd prefer to have a meal that doesn't come out the way it came in! =P
@ Candy Corn Oreos One of the more famous of bizarre food flavors, having made an appearance on South Park!
I ventured back to page 66 and found candy corn on the cob...
@ Dragon Fruit I've had many dragon fruit flavored food items, but I've never actually tried one by itself! What is it that makes them so special? And by special I mean pricy. xP
I couldn't find the name of the first fruit, but according to the link, the man's name is Bill. =P
The second one linked me to a site filled with rare fruits, but most of them didn't have names to go with them... seems like a pretty poorly run site if you ask me!
But if you want to get into interesting fruits, here's the jackfruit, breadfruit, and starfruit respectively.
Not sure where they got their names, except for the last one, but as far as unusual fruits go, they're actually pretty well-known! If you've never heard of any of these, I suggest you go back to fruit school and study up a bit... =P
And although it isn't a fruit, it wouldn't be right to leave romanesco broccoli out of the loop.
Going back to unusual candy bars, Chuao has some interesting creations. The link is an image of 10 different Chuao flavors, but it's far too large to post here, so for those of you who can't stand clicking on links, I'll just show you the especially strange ones.
Maple Bacon
Potato Chip
Salted Chocolate Crunch
And my personal favorite*, Firecracker
Why these images can't all just be the same size is beyond me. All I know is, page 92 is not going to be a short one.
*I have not tried any Chuao chocolate bar flavors. My favoritism is purely hypothetical.
I went to McDonald's a few days ago just to get a McRib, and I was surprised at how subtly it was displayed. Usually there's at least one noticeable sign for it, but I almost didn't order one until I saw the tiny blurb on the back of the cash register.
Still their most delicious creation other than their legendary fries.
One of those bars reminded me of this, possibly the most disgusting thing I've ever tasted.
The Tayto man bears a striking resemblance to Speedy Eggbert.
Not a lot of hype about McRib season. I expected a bigger turnout. Frankly, I'm kind of disappointed.
Maybe if I post a picture of one with bacon and mozzarella sticks piled onto it, crowds will start flocking.

Onions and chocolate aren't too bad a combination (but it's a surefire recipe for disaster if you're a dog). It's the cheese that would stop me from trying that stuff.
But chocolate and cheese slammed together isn't anything new to the food world.

You can say that again.
Seriously, you can say it again. People just aren't reading this thread like they used to. You can say whatever you want as many times as you want.

I swear the two must have been fraternal twins, separated at birth.
They are definitely of the same genus, but there are clear genetic differences between the two.
Tayto Man has small, beady eyes, a standard-sized nose, and regular arms with regular fingers. Speedy Eggbert has a huge, round nose, giant, round feet, big bushy eyebrows that aren't even attached to his face, one giant eye with two large pupils inside of it, and skinny little arms with round stubs where his hands should be.
Whether or not the two are related, it's obvious one way or the other that Speedy Eggbert was born with a number of serious birth defects.
You like fries so much? What about from a vending machine?
Somehow I don't trust the quality of hot fried foods that have been sitting in the same place all day.
Then again, I do eat at McDonald's fairly regularly.
And besides, it's not the strangest thing to ever happen to vending machines.
