World overpopulated? Yes, by the Biological sense.
Basically, any ecosystem balance itself. When the world is overpopulated, scarcity of resources take effect, competition happens, some people died (to famine or war or whatever). So the population is natually capped: it is always limited by the availability of the resources. The only rule on the surface of the planet is still "survival of the fittest".
It is all about the resources. High population increase is a result of increased efficiency (and exploitation) of gaining resources. When the rate of increase declines, population growth can't be sustained and a battle for survival commence automatically. Eventually it would balance itself.
Why we don't have space colony NOW? We DO have the technology, but don't have that excess resources and more importantly, it is unprofitable (returns doesn't pay for the resources that would be required to spend). You get the point.
Hydrogen technology is useless without power source. Unless you are talking about fusion, which transmutes hydrogen atoms permanently. Hydrogen atoms is in fact abundunt, the atmosphere is losing hydrogen constantly as those atoms reached escape velocity due to random collisions. The Sun consumes a few tons of hydrogen atoms per second and it can still run for another few billion years.
I still think fusion technology is going to be fruitless at least for the next 200years. Solar energy is much more realistic and we have the tech to build it now (solar power station in orbit, beaming the energy back to earth surface). It is a problem of reducing costs, or wait until the alternatives have their cost grown so high that building space power station become a viable choice. Till then, we are still stuck with fission-based nuclear power.

You may be right about that. What we need to work out is a better way of harnessing that source of power. Current technology is not efficient enough. Though I think I remember mention of a new photovoltaic compound that could be as much as 80% efficient. The problem was getting the molecules to align properly.
Are you talking about groups like the Illuminati, or was the quotes talking about religion/governments?
Kinda but it is all part of Agenda 21, i wonder if agenda 21 is true? well we will find out at the end of 2012 lol. there is so much talk on the internet about this stuff that u need to know about it.
Think about it. If every couple had two children, they would be replacing both themselves and their spouse. So if ever couple in the world today had one child, they would not be replacing their spuse and therefore this method would decrease the world population by half.

the younger generation will not be able to earn enoufg money for the older generations pensions. the retired people or the working people, 1 of the 2 will have to less money to get around whit. same problem as china is facing.

The world population is growing but couples are choosing to have less children. But then this creates a economic problem because of the "baby boom" that happend in 1946 to 1964. So because there was lots of people were born in these yaers it made the economic sosiety better but know those baby boomers are retiring and not making money. So know since people chose to not have as much children there is not enough people to support those retired people. So this causes the economic society to fall down. This is partly why there is this economic crisis that many countries are going through.
Know back to my first point that couples are having less children and there are amount of baby rules in countries like China. But even though this is hapening the world population is still growing becasue people are living alot longer than in past years. So yes, the world population is becoming overpopulated.
But with the population growing it seems like the world is overpopulated because people are choosing to live in close spaces together in urban cities and centres. So this can make it seem like the world is overpopulated when the people are just packing together in close spaces when there is much more land out in the rural areas. But there is alot of places and land that are uninhabited just hard to live in.
I do agree that the world is going to become overpopulated in the future but at this very time the world is not as overpopulated as it seems.

it sure i true but whit the rate the population is growing it wont take 250 year befor it actualy is overpopulated. (1800 - 1bill. people. 1930 - 2 bill. people. 2011 - 7 bill. people)
and the most importend cause for the high population growth is the improofment in medical care and research.
There's a little over 2700 calories of edible food for every person on earth.
We only reside on 30% of the earth's land.
where did you got this info from? i would like to read some more of that site.
But yeah the population is gorwing... I think in the past few years a billion more people were born. And yet the schools dont get much funding, and they are always sad-looking.

Schools? Heck, we should focus on keeping them alive with food, water and vaccines in the first place. Or ensure that they even make it out into the world.

maybe we shouldn't let them die and try to lower the population. i guess when we let alot of kids die then people will less easy make new children. lowering the birth rate.
