Nothing needed to come before energy, nor did it need to form. Things like potential energy are only relative to other states to which you are comparing it. We have no state of non-existence to compare either way. I just think a keeper of existence or any kind of being is much harder to explain than simple energy. As far as what kind of energy it is, those are human designations for how the energy behaves. Since there would have been nothing for the energy to interact with I don't think that kind of designation is necessary. We also have to contend with exotic energy (dark energy) which has properties that scientists just don't understand yet.
If you look at it logically nearly every question you have about the universe and how it was made has a logical answer. I myself believe that a god does not exist.
I totaly agree with GarrusEx. But evendough Im a Atheist, i respect religios people, as long it doesnt go so far to say other people if they should do a Abortion or not.
