Hello, and welcome finally to the third installment of Memetia Legends! Finally, your leash of being on a single planet has been turned loose and you are free to roam the galaxy at your whim! Heck, maybe someone even remembers this series. Who knows? All I know is that I'm back and it's time to kick some serious butt. NOTE: Unlike Memetia Legends 2, your character does not transfer over to Memetia Legends 3 due to the setting being much farther into the future...at least, unless you can give a reasonable explanation as to your character's continued living. CHARACTER SHEET: Name: Strength: (Stats range from 1-10 and must equal no more than 45) Memetian Species: Cheezburgians: The Cat people of Memetia! They vary in their fur lengths and colors, more so that any race. They have retracting hook claws between their fingers and toes, pointed triangular ears on top of their relatively small heads, slit eyes, and all other features a cat would have. They, like other Memetians, are bipedal. Occasionally, you will even get a vampiric Cheezburgian! Their society is highly capitalistic, almost to the point of anarchy. They have equal proficiency with Melee, Magic and Guns. Age range: 50 years Youtubians: Cyborg people! They are vaguely humanoid, except there are no humans in Memetia. They are born with robotics built into them, varying in what parts of them are robotic and which aren't. They are one of the two trans-organic species in the Memetiaverse. They are more proficient in Guns than Melee, and cannot use Magic without modification. Age range: 150 years Chanians: Big, hulking freaks of muscle and little brains. Descended from gorillas, this big monkeys have a tendency to crush first, ask questions later. They often if not always have huge muscles and a misshapen, pig-like face. Otherwise, they are humanoid. They mostly live on the junk planets and other planets where others cannot survive. Proficient in Melee more than Guns than Magic. Age range: 40 years Trollix: The more dragonic, lizardoid people. They are more humanoid than dragons while keeping features like having scales, hoarding treasure and breathing elements. They are very lean, without a lot of fat or muscle. Their culture makes up the center of galactic politics. More proficient in Magic than anything else. Age range: 10,000 years Behemels: The largely hated space Nazis! They are bear people, whom have a highly religious and fanatical society. For this reason, most Behemel are largely hated by galactic society, at times even more than the Collective. However, they are often the best organized against the people who intend to massively do the galaxy harm. Proficient in Magic and Guns, not as much Melee. Age range: 70 years Hyrin-Pern: The wolf-people! They live in a somewhat tribal system, living in packs. They also have an incredible capacity for alcohol and make the most concentrated alcohol in the galaxy. They are proficient in Melee and Guns. Age range: 30 years Collective: Have you ever seen Cthulu? Imagine a leaner, smaller, less evil version of him. While they are still somewhat evil, they do try to keep a distinct hierarchical society. Before the presence of the planet Memetia and its inhabitants in Galactic politics, the Collective had control of most all of the galaxy. Very proficient in Guns, not as much in Melee or Magic. AGe range: 1000 years Balcheans: The frog-like warmongerers! Their skin dries easily, so they have to keep it wet when they can or risk death. Their society is mostly based on honor and discipline, just like every single other proud warrior race. They are very proficient in all weapon types. Age range: 40 years Tropers: The wisest race in the Memetiaverse! Due to a highly intense sun, their skin, fingernails, eyes and hair are made of gems, the hair and skin a special, fine mesh called Gemsilk. While their outsides are naturally gem-laden, their insides are still squishy as normal. They seek to expand their knowledge and avoid political dealings when it can. They are proficient in Magic and cannot use material weapons. Age range: 5000 years Watermaids: Mermaids! Everyone loves mermaids. The closest thing to humans you can get in Memetia, they prefer to stay in water and are built just for that, with fins, a fish tail and all. Their bones are mostly actually cartlidge, much like a shark...which is what they'll resemble even more once they go predatory. Proficient in all weapons. Age range: 100 years Origins: Mercenary: Just a gun for hire, they use whatever means they can to fulfill the goal of any mercenary: Get paid, and live long enough to get paid. Treasure Hunter: Really, it's a nice word for "thief". Despite this, Treasure Hunters search the galaxy for treasure that they can make a quick buck off of, and usually are accepted as a legitimate trade. Vansibanes: The oldest and most mysterious of origins, the Vansibane is basically a cross between a monk and a wizard, spending long hours in solitude to master their magical arts. Soldier: You're part of a military for some race's military. You have access to the best toys in the galaxy, but your range of what you get to do is rather limited. Affinity: Affinity for a certain element. The elements are: Fire |

Oh yeah, feel like Armorgames is a little too restrictive for a vast universe like Memetia? Want to play without having to compete with other threads for attention and page time? Just feel like having a place to go when you feel alone? Just go here for the free forum devoted specifically to Memetia and Memetia only! |

Name: Rosine Strength: 9 You arrive on the Cheezburgian frontier world of Hiuanta off of the the shuttle from the Trollix capital of Alduin. The frontier town is not very impressive, with the shuttle port being the only building that doesn't look rusted and made of scrap metal. This doesn't look like a town that you would find the Mercenary's guild in, but every Merc you talked to said this was the planet. Looking behidn yourself, you see that past the port is nearly an armada of various well-armed ships behind it, giving some credit to the rumors. Name: Nimbus Strength: 4 It will do nicely. You walk into the Mercenary's Guild, your mechanical parts aching for no reason you can remember. You also cannot remember what these weapons were that you found next to yourself, except for what they generally are. Your clothes are tattered and adorned with various bits and baubles that you have no clue what they are doing on your clothes. You recognize what looks like a pair of H'es, one on each of your shoulders. As you look around the guild, you see several lines leading up to a large desk manned by several clerks, as well as a board with several notes on it. One desk has no line leading to it, with a sign marking it as the information desk. Name: Vekel Strength: 3 You find yourself in the middle of a battlefield. You tend to go to these places in order to study how combat is preformed, taking special note of various uses of magic that you record in your spellbook. While you know magic is preformed by manipulation of one's affinity to produce an effect and thus a spellbook would only be for one of limited imagination, you find that recording how people use the gift of magic helps stimulate ideas for how to use your own affinity. As you study the scorch marks of an obvious fireball spell, you hear a voice call out to you. Voice: Hey! Hey, Vansibane! Hands off the bodies, the loot is mine! Name: Viet Anh Strength: 8 You, having scrounged up just enough cash to buy a Fighter-class ship with no weapon or AI, arrive on an uncharted jungle world. You are fully convinced that this inconspicuous jungle hides Forebear ruins that could net you and your family a pretty penny, enough that your family should be able to move out of the ghettos of Baskerville into a much better neighborhood. This belief is confirmed by what you see what you land: A sign in an ancient language you can't understand leading further into the jungle. You could probably take only the sign, sell it to the right scribe and get enough credits for your family to last the week. However, there is obviously better loot further on... Name: Reonara Strength:5 You are cruising along in a fighter you stole with the AI constantly reminding you to register your vehicle when you hear an alert pop up on your dashboard. The sensors detect a Behemel Crusader-class warship, which is basically a Frigate as you remember. It also appears that the warship is attempting to hail you. |

Name: Rosine Strength: 9 Let's ask around to see if anyone knows where the guild is. |

Name: Nimbus Strength: 4 I suppose I'll try and ask around for the guild leader to try and find a job. |

Name: Vekel I stand and look towards the voice. "Calm down, I can't even use most of this stuff. I'm just studying the magic used in the battle, feel free to take whatever you like." Darn greedy treasure hunter should respect someone as old as me. (Hey, we don't have Age in our sheet. If anyone cares, I'm 1504. Young considering Tropers live to 5000.) |
