I just wanted to let you guys know a little bit about what is happening with the armatars.
Firstly, I will be taking down the Halloween armatars tonight. I hope to do this for future holidays as well. How it will work is that I will open up submissions roughly a week before the holiday in question, and keep up the armatars for a week after the holiday.
Secondly, we have a new armatar artist! I am going to put up a few sample armatars from the new batch so that you can get a feel for the style. I would appreciate it if you all could check them out, and then let me know what your opinions are. Please try to make any feedback constructive.

Since there is a new artist, would it be possible to ask him to make some 3 dimensional armatars? I think that would be pretty cool. Also, I give a 9/10 for the armatars but I am not sure if the whole Spartan or Trojan warrior(whichever one it is) fits with the rest of the armatars. Also, I like the different style better than the last one it looks better.
I have to say, this new batch looks completely different to the old ones. First off, the oldies had strong colors and they looked more cartoonish and friendlier. The new ones though, am I right in believing that the artist used watercolors to make them? They look awesome, and the two testers are cool. I am sure me and a lot of fellow users will like the new armatars.
Question: Are you taking down some of the old ones to replace them with the new ones? I think they should all stay, the old ones are more for kids and the new ones for teenagers and adults.
By the way, the Halloween Armatars haven't changed yet, no matter what you have said. I really want to see my 'blank wonder' as Zega calls it.
