For PC it's definately worth it. The PC version is easier, funner, and has twice as many features. The Xbox version isn't up to par, neither is the mobile version. Endless possibilities and an endless map to create buildings/machines/etc.
I personally don't play it, but I've heard a lot of people saying it's one of the best games they've ever played. It's a game I'd recommend if you're very creative and enjoy building things.
yeah, the PC version i've heard is better, but unless you have good PC it's going to lag allot, the Xbox version is good and $5 cheaper and the pocket edition is only $7 but the maps are small and it doesn't have a ton of the features that even the Xbox version has (Xbox version isn't up to date yet) i believe it is at version 0.3 and they just recently added crafting and you still get unlimited certain stuff but it is mobile and it is an investment so eventually it'll be better, in fact the free mobile version is how i got into minecraft in the first place
Minecraft is a great game for the PC if you have an ok monitor,(great isn't required, but it does have a lot of deatil) updated video card drivers, and good proccessors. It only costs 30$, which is a very good bargain considering that new games these days cost around 50$, a BIG weight loss for your wallet. I have no experience with the other two editions, but from what I hear from some other people I know is that the pocket edition just costs too much and has no good graphic quality. The Xbox 360 edition though having good graphics, requires for you to have Xbox Live, making your wallet weigh even less! Here's my final order of the three from greatest to terrible: PC,Xbox 360, and Pocket edition. Get the pc edition now before it skyrockets up people!
What a stupid question, of course it's worth it! Only on the PC or Mac or Linux though, the Xbox can't chat and the mobile sucks. You pay once and then you get every update afterwards, and you can upgrade it with modifications like Better than Wolves or Rei's Minimap. And you can create in it, and once you think you're proficient, get Tekkit, (from TechnicLauncher) which is a free thing with its own launcher that even has special servers for it. Tekkit lets you make ridiculous machines.
much like the linerider serie in flash games. it can be great if you can work whit it and have the time. but it totaly sucks if you just want to have fun and play a game.
No. An Indy game has no business being more than free. Hell, TF2 is free, and it was made by a big company. Mojang just doesn't care.
Indie games need to make some cash, the fact that indie games are made by a usually small amount of people makes the people have to work a more than usual to get the same thing.
You originaly had to buy TF2 and back then I consider it alot better because right when it went to be a free game, Hats and better prenium stuff rushed in as well as players. Also it started to get annoying once it became free because people started to complain about more than just the new hats in every update.
