i personal dont believe it but many groups have predicted it ex: mayans,hopi indians,the bible St Malachy predicted the world will end with the 112th pope; pope bendict is our 111th pope. Why would all these people predict the same date?
well maybe the mayan calendar said the world would end after 700000 years, not 700...
and even at the end, i think humanity would invent some sort of time machine to exist over and over again, we are very inventive. About end in 2012, it is silly at most, and impossible. I would say the chance of the world to end in 2012 (asteroid impact) is 0,00000005%, less than winning a loto 6/49

If that happens where is everyone. If there are refugees coming back in time where are they (unless their still int he future). It is nt impossible that the world will end just unlikely. It would be ironic if it did though after evryone was saying it was rubbish.
There is a REAL chance that in 2012 we will have solar storms that will knock out power and start fires. They are like earthquakes, if you don't have a few small ones, a big one will occur. Well we haven't had one for a wile. It may not be exactly on 2012 and will probably last for 6 months. The best thing to have is a back up generator if you lose power.
ok...everyone the world will not end in our life time it might end when were all dead but then why do we care if its gona end after were dead?well be dead already so theres absolutely no point in worrying about it.

dont worry about it theres a chance that the world will blow up in the next 10 seconds...10 seconds later....ahhhhh were still here. when 2012 comes and goes and the earth didn't blow up. then everyone will be forced to shut up about the world ending.. or most likely some Mayans or Aztecs will get together and make up a new date like 3012. a hundred years later our descendants will having the same old debate that were having now.
