I believe in simple life forms and maybe some relatively complex organisms, but not intelligence like the so-called 'grey aliens', because I believe in ghosts and if aliens existed, than there could be alien ghosts, and I just can't see that. BTW, Star Wars is just a movie, so that doesn't count.

The Drake equation sort of works for this. This forum isn't about contacting life. It's about if there is other life. Now that that's out of the way there are about 500 million planets that are about the same size and climate as Earth just in the Milky Way. if you multiply that by the number of galaxies 100 billion. Well you do the math.My guess there is life.

The "drake equation" is the formula for the number of civilizations in our galaxy in which communication might be possible. this doesn't mean the present ones, just the possible number of the past, present, and future ones... in a sense.

And how do we know that an alien species would need oxygen and water? Maybe they need carbon, helium, or some undiscovered element for instance.

Well, I don't know if really aliens do exist. The only thing that can prove me if I can see it. I seen some videos of like UFO sightings, but what about a real, living alien?

I believe that aliens are real in the form of other intelligent life. I don't think that they all go around abducting cows and probing everyone. They are probably like us.

We have never explored the complete underground of any planet before.
Who knows? There could be aliens on this planet and we don't know it...

And studies have shown water on the moon, could it be an alien outpost?

Well, if there are aliens I'm happy to let them be. Especially if they are as fond of dissecting things as we are.
